I recently stayed at the Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel with my family for two nights and wanted to share my feedback on our experience. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. Although we did not dine in the restaurant, we ordered food for in-room dining, and it was very good. A special mention goes to the breakfast manager, who was very kind and offered us some dessert on our last day, which we greatly appreciated.

Everything was simply lovable

Food was average for such hotel.

Service from staff was hit and miss. At the check-in guy took my card and gave me the room card. No information on restaurant, lift, or any other services or not a single gesture. There was nobody waiting either. Most Staff in the restaurant are untrained young adults.

Property is very much clean, staff is so helpful and polite. Because of it is our first stay in Marriott they gave us complementary break fast. Overall stay was very good and convenient.

Whatever food you order, you need to pay that immediately generally they are sum up tha total value of food and then need to pay.

Breakfast is outstanding. However, when it comes to having an early breakfast, although the hotel claims the breakfast opens at 6:30, there were just two employees with no one to serve. I had to wait for 10 minutes for my chai until 06:50 because the server said they usually don't make it that early.

Customer service is average. Once you call the front desk, it would take between 15-30 min for someone to respond. It happened about 2-3 times during my stay. I did not expect this from a Marriott franchise. It would be nice to use some softer for the laundry. There was no fragrance on them after the service completion.

The hotel itself is nice and comfy, the food is excellent, the buffet is quite impressive, and a lot of choices and delicious 😀.

We came especially for the pool, as we promised our daughter to go swimming, but unfortunately on that day the pool was under maintenance and it was not mentioned anywhere on the website and even when we called nobody informed us that it is closed that day, even we asked for the pool specifically.
