the location was great for “modern” Lisbon.

the air didn’t work. we thought we’d die of heat exhaustion. it made for a pretty restless night and to add to it we had a 7 a.m. flight. this apartment is definitely only for four people, no more.

We had a 30 day booking, however really had to check out early, due to how uncomfortable we felt throughout our stay.Here is a list of things that actually have been missed during our stay: Major -If you’re checking in during the summer months be aware that the house is extremely extremely hot and the ac doesn’t work. The windows in the bedroom are shut and impossible to open, so if you’re working from home or plan on staying home during the day... it is a sauna with a nice view basically. - We travel with young children, yet we were never informed that there are no safety provisions at all, no child safety locks anywhere & the balcony is on a 9th floor with wide open gaps, so we had to move the furniture in order to block the door which opens to the balcony. No first aid kit available. Wondering if it’s even legal to rent a place without appropriate safety measurements in place. -The oven door didn’t shut properly leaving a 4 inch gap, the representative insisted that even though it did not shut properly it was still functional and suggested we’d use the oven as is.... after a lot of negotiation (and explaining that we have a 1 year old child and we can’t cook with an open oven door) they’ve accepted to exchange the oven. - The lack of hygiene and the amount of dirt we found was shocking, from heavy mold in the bathrooms to used condoms under the sofa, a soiled bedroom rug (which was immediately taken to be cleaned and never returned)... to name a few. - cleaning was offered but never done, a lady showed up saying that she came to set the baby’s bed up and left without cleaning. - the floor board have wide gaps and loose wood, which resulted in a cut on my son’s foot. Minor things - broken vacum cleaner (was replaced) -no hangers (the rep brought us some) -master bathroom jacuzzi didn’t work, but we didn’t need so ok -the ironing boards are small travel ones with no legs so if you wish to iron your clothes you must do it on the floor or on a table.
