We really enjoyed staying at the House of Hathor. Mohammed made our stay an awesome one. We enjoyed all the staff (especially Ramadan) who waited on us hand and foot. They were all delightful. Ramadan washed and ironed my wife's clothes for us. We went to see several important sites through Mohammed's booking our tours. We went to the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Nefertari's Tomb, Hatshepsut's Temple, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, rode the Balloon, and visited the Luxor Souq for two nights. We had a truly awesome time. Every trip was well organized. We were treated like royalty. I note the trips to the Souq as this is not common for a tour guide. Mohammed listened to what I wanted to do, told me what to expect, and complied with my request. Having shopped Souqs in India, China, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey, I thought that the Luxor Tourist Souq was great. We had to buy an extra suitcase to take our treasures back with us. Magda went with us on the formal trips as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable. All of us enjoyed her. The bus and van were very nice. We had no problem getting Mohammed to take us to the grocery and/or ATM when needed. He was very, very prompt and always arrived on time. The trip prices were fair and reasonable. I will add that the entire team was respectful, honest, and accommodated our requests at all times. They are an incredible team. The facility is very, very nice and is very clean. The property is well maintained and has a well kept swimming pool. We were totally safe at all times. We also enjoyed the neighborhood village and the people we met. All six of us have nothing but good to say about the experience. I generally judge a site based on whether I would go back to it. We will visit the House of Hathor when we return to Luxor. This is a well run and well maintained property. We all enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching the Nile go by.

Hathor house was the cherry of our marvelous Egypt trip. We were 4 adults 3 kids and the house was perfect for all ages.. the pools were amazing we all have so much fun there. The house has a great design and style, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the beds everything was new, modern, clean and comfortable. Is the perfect oasis to relax and enjoy after many days doing intensive sightseeing around the country. The staff is awesome, Ramada, Wely and Saba were always very helpful and attentive and Oscar was a great host. We really recommend this beautiful house.

This review is not solicitated, it is my own. I did not know the host before. Here goes: The absolute PERFECT getaway. You will not find a better place in Luxor. Tastefully decorated. Quality construction, first class bathrooms, great kitchen. I read some negative reviews and it surprises me. Danielle is a caring host and Mohamed and crew do their best. Ice cold air conditioning throughout, a sparkling clean pool. Comfortable beds and really nice decor touches everywhere. If you enjoy old world elegance and great service, don't look further. The House of Hathor should be your destination.

When we first walked through the entrance we did not expect to see what we saw, it was simply beautiful starting from the landscape to the exterior and interior of the house it self, as if we where disconnected from the outside. Our family of 5 enjoyed every single moment in the house we only stayed 4 days but it felt like home. The house is very clean and will maintained, you can see how much the details are cared for just to insure our comfort along with the daily checking's from the house keeper.
