It’s not in Sanur! It isn’t close to any amenities or shops and you need to get transport from the villa to Sanur to get cash or food

Fantastic Place. Best place to stay. So friendly staff and owners! We will be back to Bali and after this will stay nowhere else. This place is perfect to chill out and relax. Veena also got to do Yoga and teach yoga. Cannot wait to return.

A little piece of paradise !! The place is wonderful, so like the garden and the rooms. The decoration is refined and tasteful. You can enjoy on a sofa or a chair in the garden or play billiard and babyfoot. The staff is very grateful and helpful. The breakfast is amazing.

Great food and a very nice garden. The manager was very helpful in arranging pick up from the airport. The villa is well maintained and it is a mix of French and Balinese style

Manzelepeun was magical! The staff is exceptional. It is a boutique style resort. The resort grounds and garden make you feel so peaceful and serene. Management (Devi and Patrick) handled an embarrassing situation (and potentially a lot of work for them) with such kindness and care. My husband got Bali Belly before arriving and had a bit of a wopsie! We all ended up having a big laugh about it. The in-house food was well priced and delicious. Manzelelpeun is a bit off the beaten track, but that turned out to be a blessing because we deeply relaxed and wanted for nothing. The massage at the resort was well priced as well. Whatever we needed was there. There is no need to go out into the stressful traffic. We enjoyed five days of bliss! We will be back! Thank you for a memorable stay.

the staff are the best, incredibly amicable and dedicated to giving you the best service! The garden, rooms and pool are beautiful, they have plenty of recommendations for activities and day trips. Fantastic place to stay!!

the surrounding area is a bit rough, get a taxi to go places which the staff are so happy to book.

We liked the atmosphere of the house which is filled with antics and nice objects. The garden is also very beautiful. Our room was great, spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. They organized a cot for our baby which was very convenient. They have a restaurant in the hotel, useful because you are quite far from other places.

The food at the restaurant is pretty basic but it is an easy and efficient choice.

Everything as was exactly what we expected after reading the reviews and looking through the Villa photos.

Staff were all very nice. The gardens and pool were magnificent. Meals and drinks were only available between certain times but were very nice. We bought some prepared coffee and kremer (breakfast not till 7.30am) along with some wine and beers for our room. This hotel villa is more suited to couples and singles. It was out of the way so you do need to use a taxi.

The room we had was on the 2nd floor, we had to use steps a little straining as they were not very wide and also were not non slip. As Aussies the availability of a bar was disappointing....:) Hence the worry of the stairs:)

We had a little room at the back of the hotel. They seem to have bungalows too, but our room was small and not very appealing to the eyes. The staff were very lovely and helpful answering all our questions and meeting our needs. Breakfast was lovely.

We had a fantastic antique Balinese bed in our room. The breakfast was fantastic with homemade jam. The pool was very relaxing

This resort host has an amazing taste in making this mansion a home away from home in Bali. I loved the garden design, the yoga room and the peaceful atmosphere. Everything is set up very convenient to access, it’s boutique but had everything I needed. The restaurant and SPA I thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are amazing, every time I came back from outside it feels like coming home. I extended my stay from 3 nights to 6 nights here. Would definitely want to come back to stay.

The bathroom facilities could be slightly modified as the water sprinkles around the room while I shower.

The quiet, semi rural location was perfect for us. Total rest and relaxation with a beautiful garden - no need to go anywhere, if you don’t want to. We loved the fact the villa had bicycles we could borrow, so getting around locally was no problem. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly.

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way literally to accomodate us. We stayed for 5 nights and then had another hotel in Sanur booked. We forgot to return the key and we notified them as soon as we realised when we reached our new hotel which was a 25 minute taxi ride away - they then sent a driver to our new hotel to pick up the key rather than have us travel back to them. Air conditioning could be put to whatever temp you required - a big tick in my book. I have stayed in wonderful hotels in Sydney and London but none of them provided this type of one on one service.

The staff and Indonesian owner were extremely gracious and delightful. The gym has plenty of weights and a treadmill for running. The gardens are beautiful and there are plenty of places to sit and hang. We were given an amazing complimentary massage as service recovery for a mixup with the airport pick up. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing.  Breakfast at the restaurant is cheap and delicious. The restaurant is open for dinner if you don’t feel like going out. 

There’s not much not to like. Be aware the swimming pool, whilst beautiful does not get much sun. The local beach is black sand and there’s not much there so you really need to use Transport, but with a Grab app that’s pretty easy and cheap.

The only minus was that it was far from the center

It looked more or less similar to the pictures, on the inside, however, this time, the pictures certainly looked more inviting, than it turned out to be in reality.

Sadly, more disappointing experiences this time fir us, than positive. I find it reather misleading when the property states "pool with a view". Our room had direct access to the pool, however, it was the area where the staff walked occasionally and we did not feel the privacy. The pool was not clean, unfortunately. The property was advertised as being some 600 m away from the beach, but unfortunately, did not mention anything about that the only path leading to the beach was occupies by dogs, as well as the main road, we never even made it to the beach that night. We arrived at the property around 4 pm, in the midle of a scorching afternoon heat, and found ourself in a room, where the aircon was not turned on, which is rather surprising in this climat. This is not our first trip to Bali and we were always welcomed by a nice cool air inside upon our arrival. The staff was not really supportive, yes we only stayed one night, but noone even bothered to ask how we were or if we needed any assistance, which, again, seems rather unususal for Bali, and never happened to us before on this beautiful island. In the end, the last straw was a taxi turmoil. We ordered an airport taxi on our arival for the next day. The reception manager lady gave us a fixed price, which was double checked and confirmed the next morning before we left. We were advised to give the money directly to the driver. Surprisingly, the driver looked puzzled when we gave him the money at the airport and, a few minutes later, a message came from the property asking why we underpaid the driver. Now, this is not what you want to hear when are going through the airport security. We did pay what we agreed upon and we even checked with the locals, just to be sure we were paying a fair price.

The staff was excellent. Ever ready to be of service.

Small room furnitured in grandmother style... Small balcony no view.No bathroom! only a shower cabin and toilet seperate. 'King-size' bed ??, terrible,two concrete hard matrasses against another!! We could not sleep! Pictures on booking were exaggerating to catch customers. Poor breakfast with old toasted bread. Not to recommend.

Only thing was that you need taxi or scooter to get to grocery shop or the beach to relax. Location though was good for total relax, no tourists

The room was very nice complete with antique furniture that included a hand carved 250 year old bed.
