Loved the location for our holiday. Shower was hot and strong which we loved. The fridge came in handy and kitchen sink were used. Bed comfy and loved the building!!

wifi was non existent one night and not great in general - we were mostly out of the room so not a huge issue but inconvenient to check in for flights etc

Location was perfect for what we were after.

It was way over priced. Paying extra for towels, the ones we received were thread bear and thin and grey. The wifi in the area

Great location - idea if you want to be located close to/on the Royal Mile. A quick car trip from Waverley Station. You can also walk easily to/from Princes Street. Interesting historic building. Clear check-in instructions provided by the host.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable and the wifi didn’t work at all. The stairs to access the apartment are very steep and narrow, so may not be ideal for guests with accessibility issues - however this is clearly advertised by the property, so no complaints. 😊

The location is as good as it gets in Edinburgh and is simply superb. I also liked the general style of the room, in an old classic building where natural features like the stone walls are kept in combination with necessary new features like the kitchenette. And that latter is a great addition to the room, making it possible to have small snacks/meals in the room.

The general maintenance of the room was very poor. It is expected that accommodation standards in the UK is lower than many other countries in Europe, but I feel that my room at least was in dire need of some TLC. While I had no problem accessing the room, I did meet others that were struggling, so while the instructions are said to have received awards for its easiness, I do believe that things might can be done even more straight forward. It should be added missing ropes (as “handrails”) in the staircase as with such curved narrow stairs, something to hold on to is imperative to personal safety. Very understandably, there is no airconditioning in the building/room, but during warm summer days (which I do know there are not too many of in Scotland), there should have been a way to either open windows or a small individual unit to provide some airflow.

The room was located just above the Royal Mile (the windows opened above the street). It was very convenient to walk to everything near the castle, and both Old and New Towns. The room itself was nicely appointed and the hosts left some nice treats for us

The dark, steep stairway was scary, especially when carrying heavy luggage. It is not well lit, nor is there much of anything to hold onto. . The instructions to enter independently were long and the walk up the medieval staircase was a bit edgy. I would also add a fan as there could be some stuffy nights. Also, someone was smoking in another room and it seeped into ours. Smoking doesn't seem like a safe thing to do in an old building like that.

la ubicación que está en plena calle principal, la habitación es bonita, con cocina y todos los utensilios . te dan té y varios tipos de galletas, habitación limpia.

había mucho ruido, no de la calle en si (porque siempre hay gente) sino un ruido fuerte como si arrastrara algo durante toda la noche, no sé si de las puertas, ventanas o del viento pero era horrible, tuve que dormir con auriculares. La cama se hundía por partes, duermes con el cuerpo torcido. Si buscas descanso no vengas aquí. no hay recepción tiene que hacer tú el check-in, y eso no lo ponía al reservar con lo que si no te apañas es complicado, va con códigos

La ubicación es perfecta. La pieza muy linda, bien decorada e iluminada. Muy limpia y el baño renovado muy bien! El lugar en la noche muy tranquilo.

Como antes habian dicho, las escaleras son agotadoras, se podrian abrir mas las ventanas para ventilar mejor. Ojala le agreguen algunas repisas para dejar cosas ya que no cuenta con closet.

La ubicación es excelente.El apartamento es muy chulo y tiene de todo.Muy limpio. Julia en todo momento se interesó y nos dio todas las instrucciones necesarias para acceder a la vivienda.Muchas gracias

Estábamos en el cuarto piso y las escaleras se hacen muy pesadas.El agua de la ducha no llegaba a estar caliente de todo.
