Nur eine kurze Fahrt vom Flughafen und schon ist man in einer anderen Welt. Die Casa del Cafe liegt völlig ruhig mitten in einem grossen parkähnlichem Grundstück, umgeben von einer schützenden Mauer. Trotzdem ist alles in der Nähe, was man eventuell braucht: Restaurant, Supermarkt,.. Man kann von dort aus Ausflüge machen. Z.B. zum Vulkan Barva und zu Bergdörfchen in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist wunderschön, stilvoll eingerichtet, das Zimmer mit Bad sehr groß und sauber. Das Frühstück (10 Dollar pro Person) war lecker. Gabriela und Miguel sind wunderbare und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

Je to velký rodinný dům a pán a paní domu jsou skvělými hostiteli. Dům je neuvěřitelně útulný, paní domu má velký cit pro detail a pořádek. Takovou Vánoční výzdobu jsme ještě neviděli. Pronajímají krásně zařízené pokoje, ale koupelnu sdílíte s ostatními členy domácnosti. Dům má krásnou velkou zahradu a díky tomu neslyšíte žádný hluk.

Casa colonial preciosa rodeada con jardín muy cuidado y con parking privado. Habitación muy amplia y limpia, con todo lo necesario como frigorífico, ventilador de techo y mobiliario. Baño equipado con gel y champú.

El baño se encuentra fuera de la habitación.

A beautiful old mansion set on a huge property with vast lawns, a creek and a section of rainforest. Antique furniture, original artwork and an eclectic mix of ornaments throughout. A delightful place to stay prior to a flight.

The owners were absolutely lovely. They made us feel at home and welcomed us despite unexpected plane schedule delays. The home was beautiful and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and clean

Everything! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house and rooms were beautiful. The grounds were well kept and full of beautiful plants and different kinds of birds. We chose to get breakfast. It was a large amount of delicious food, served with smiles. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer!

the super friendly couple that runs this quaint hotel, the beautiful grounds and historical details make this a super special stay. Good base for visiting nearby cloud forests and near the airport.

you need a car since direct surroundings offer little restaurants. luckily we had that so it was a perfect sport for us.

Tricky to find

Located as per the name, on an old coffee farm. Location was great and despite seeing the pictures, was still taken aback by the old manor house. Absolutely exquisite property with amp all space and a unique feeling about the place. Highly recommended place to stay. Far away enough from the hustle and close enough to the airport. Extremely clean and hospitable. Thank you.

Wonderful grounds to wander. Safe, clean, family-run B&B. Jose Miguel and Gabriela were very hospitable.

Beautiful home with welcoming hosts. The room was huge and clean. Miguel and Gabriella helped us order some food the first night. The grounds were well kept and picturesque. We had our rental car dropped off and parking was easily available.

The cab ride from the airport to the hotel was $30 USD, which was twice as much as we were expecting. The driver ran the meter and went the most direct route.

A beautiful historic estate in the heart of Heredia. It was a great place to start our Costa Rican trip. The room was huge, the hosts were gracious, and breakfast was delicious.
