Facilities are super clean, modern and inviting especially compared to other properties in Sri Lanka around this price. The bed was comfy with really soft clean sheets. The balcony has a beautiful outlook and is really peaceful which is a comparison from Kandy! Oshan and his family are so lovely and welcoming, they have a beautiful home and put us at ease by inviting us for a cup of tea and biscuits with them on arrival - which was needed after a long bus ride! Their service was exceptional, breakfast was delicious- the best hoppers we have had here! They never felt overbearing but were always on hand to help. Oshan also arranged tuk tuk drivers and gave us great tips about prices. Highly recommended vito woodfire pizza in Kandy if you are craving some western food.

Séjour très court d' une seule nuit passée sur place . Logement chez l'habitant ! Les propriétaires sont super gentils et serviables . On nous a merci avec un tasse de thé et des biscuits coco. Ensuite , un dîner nous a été proposé , celui-ci fut très agréable un plat typique très bon . Et que dire du petit déjeuner le lendemain ! Arrêt indispensable si vous passer par Kandy

Am liebsten 3 Sterne mehr! Sauber, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, viele Tipps, Frühstück lecker! Es liegt zwar etwas außerhalb aber er organisiert einem immer einen günstigen Fahrer! Hilfsbereitschaft ohne Ende, alles sauber. Es gibt auch Hygieneartikel usw! Super Erlebnis

Oshan and his family are the best hosts we had on our 1 month journey through Sri Lanka. They are the kindest people you can meet. Very supportive and great to talk with and learn more about sri lankan culture. If you come to Kandy, definitely stay here as it's absolutely great! We spent 3 nights here and were sad we couldn't extend du to our plans going back to colombo. Rooms are spacious ans very clean, great bathroom with hot water and good water pressure and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding.

There's nothing we could complain about, 100% happy!

Из всех мест разного формата и уровня стоимости, где мы успели пожить за 1,5 недели путешествий по острову, этот дом точно был лучшим! Очень чисто, все сделано с большой заботой и любовью. Хозяин абсолютно прекрасен: забрал нас со станции на своей машине бесплатно, порекомендовал отличные места для ужина и обеда в городе, организовал тук-тук по адекватной цене, который весь день возил нас по Канди. А главное, все общение проходило очень легко, приятно, ненавязчиво. У Oshan прекрасная семья. Нас накормили отличным ужином, завтраки тоже были вкусными. В доме была идеальная тишина, что обеспечило прекрасный сон. Если приеду второй раз, однозначно обязательно остановлюсь здесь! Спасибо Oshan за такой замечательный опыт.

Nos encantó la ubicación con vistas de Kandy desde la montaña. Las instalaciones y limpieza estaban genial. Lo mejor de todo fue la familia, muy atentos, detallistas y acogedores. Nos incluyeron en la familia como si fuéramos uno más, estamos muy agradecidos. Sin duda repetiríamos y lo recomendamos al 100% ❤️

Sehr nette Familie Sauber. Das erste Hotel ohne Mief... Ruhige Lage. Sehr bemüht und aufgeschlossen, man konnte viel fragen und bekam geduldig antworten. ;) Tolle Aussicht in den Gärten mit großen Fenstern. Die Bettwäsche war ein Traum;)

Etwas schwer zu finden, nicht sehr zentral, aber mit tuk tuk gut erreichbar.

Locatie is prachtig. Wel iets verder van het centrum. Maar de gastvrouw en gastheer maken alles goed. Heerlijk bed, je eigen badkamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd in hun eigen woonkamer. Lunche pakket mee voor onderweg. Leuk ook om zo in huis ontvangen te worden. Ze regelen de Tuk -tuk en hebben goede tips over je vervolg reis. Ik kan het je aanraden....doen één dikke 10 voor de gastvrijheid. Lieve gastvrije mensen.

Wahnsinnig bemühte, herzliche und zuvorkommende Hosts; guter Parkplatz vor der Unterkunft; saubere, schön eingerichtete Zimmer; Tuk Tuk wird auf Anfrage zu fairen Preisen bestellt; mit Auto oder Tuk Tuk ist man sehr schnell in Zentrum von Kandy, trotzdem ist die Lage extrem ruhig mit schöner Aussicht!

Frühstück hätte für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen mehr herzhafte Optionen vertragen, für Leute die gerne in erster Linie süß frühstücken ist es aber großartig!

The Oshan family host is one of the biggest highlights during the stay. They’re helpful on providing information, transportation and tasty breakfast. The room is spacious, the bed was comfortable, the view from the balcony gave us a relaxing time.

Friendly family, but 4 folk doing 1 persons duties, not a problem to us. Good food and they got the drinks in that we asked for. Lovely and quiet.

We down graded one point on cleanliness not that the room and bathroom were not spotless but they didn't make up the bed, not a problem. Good value rather than outstanding.

Very nice family, excellent homemade breakfast, especially juices and local pancakes, modern bathroom, great view from the room with squerells and birds. Beds are really comfortabel, AC, fan etc. Locationis even more beautiful as in the pictures. Highly recommend place.

to move around need a tuktuk

It definitely was the best stay we have had so far in Sri Lanka! The family is unbelievable welcoming and friendly and it feels like coming to a friends or family’s house! they helped us organize everything and the food was amazing as well! By far the best homestay and the only thing we regret is, that we did not have time to stay longer! Thank you for everything and hope to be back one day!

We have spent two nights at the e stay. We were welcomed very warmly by Oshan and his family. They're all wonderful and kind people who will do their best to make sure that you will enjoy your stay in Kandy. The room was very clean, with a private attached bathroom, AC, hot water, plus a balcony with an amazing view. On our first night, we had dinner, cooked by Oshan's mother. It was very cheap and the best chicken koththu we've had in sri lanka ! Breakfast was gargatuan and delicious (especially the chocolate pancakes 😋) ! Overall, we had the perfect time at e stay. Our stay was excellent. The room was spacious, bright and clean, it had all the neccessary stuff (clean towels, toiletry, hair dryer, etc.). We also had a lovely balcony with mountains view. The family that welcomed us was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was great and the dinner was probably the best we had in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!👌🏻

Great location , away from city noise and at the same time just couple minutes away on tuk tuk . Place is very modern and excellent view from the balcony. The host very kind and helpful, the food provided was delicious! If I'm back in Kandy I will stay nowhere else

Everything was just perfect

This is a beautiful home. It is a little bit up the hill, so there are no loud noices from the city hussle. The host organized a TukTuk for us to see the city's cultural highlights. He picked us up and brought us back. Very convenient and also the driver was very nice. The hosts and their family are very lovely. They fulfill all your wishes. Whether you need a driver, a recommendation for a restaurant, or a ticket for the train, they can make it happen. We would definitely come again and can highly recommend this place.

Very kind family, they prepared welcome tea for us. They helped us with our trips and arranged tuktuk for all days. For breakfast we had a lot of food and every day was different.

Staying with a host family in a very good part of Kandy. Everyone in the family spoke very good English. On a hill, next to the forest, so close to nature. And yet also close to the town. Easy enough to walk downhill. But I took a tuk-tuk to come back. Hot water shower. Solar power so no power cuts! It really was an exceptionally nice house, and large enough that you did not feel that you were intruding on anyone's space. I also had my own private balcony. There were two local attractions for me. The Tea Museum. And, Theva: An expensive hotel with a very nice restaurant. I would be happy to eat in the restaurant every day. Fantastic location, with tables inside and out. You could spend a lot of money at Theva. However I found the meals to be reasonably priced particularly considering their quality - amount of meat etc. Price wise they compared well with meals in Kandy. (I did not have drinks).

I would have liked a menu from which I could have chosen different breakfast types. Kettle and tea bags in my room.

it was a wonderful stay — it’s cozy and peaceful far away from the noise of the city. The family accomodate everything around you and breakfast is a feast where everything is tasty!

This was the cleanest and best equipped guest house, that we stayed in during 3 weeks Sri Lanka. Very big room with modern bathroom and very nice facilities. Lots of power plugs, a table with chairs and more than enough space to put things. Cute balcony with nice view towards the green. The host is so welcoming and all smiles! He will arrange all kinds of transport and other things without hesitation. His family is so friendly and a pure delight to talk to. Had also a very good breakfast here, definite recommendation!

The family were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough to make our stay special and stress-free. The room was spotless, good shower, air conditioning and a fan, big room and a balcony with a beautiful view. The breakfast was fabulous, enough food to see us through the day and all delicious! The family arranged tuktuks into town, gave great recommendations and were just so lovely to chat to. We miss them all already!! Thank you all for an experience we will never forget, we will be sure to stay again.
