Incredibly well priced and comfortable accommodation in a simple room. We stayed here for one night on our way to Sigiriya. Our hosts were absolutely lovely, providing us with refreshments on arrival. Location is a short walk out of the main part of Kandy and a 1min walk to the best lookout over Kandy and the lake.

Friendly and helpfull host. Rooms are good equipped. In the morning it is possibile to meet monkeys on the terrace. Host can help to arrange a full day tours in Kandy.

It's a family run business like many in Srí Lanka. Everyone polite and kind and mostly they don't charge foreign price but a normal price.

Hosts english wasn't great, so was a bit hard to communicate, but I should be learning more sighalese

The room has black mold (which they knew about and tried to mask by painting over it and using a lot of air freshener). We removed the air fresheners from the room because the smell was overwhelming and went to sleep. The next morning we woke up at 4 am with sore throats and stuffy noses. When we told them the room made us sick and that they need to fix it before putting other people in there, their reply was simply "ok", no apology whatsoever. So, if you smell a lot of air freshener, don't check in.

Great hotel, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. We love to staying in The Brick House Kandy. Hotel owner is super nice and helpful. He support us for arranging our trip. I asked him millions of questions about my trip and he did his best for making everything comfortable for us. His mother make the best coffee in early morning. We have very beautiful view from our room. Location is very close to the city center, rooms are very clean and cosy. I can't imagine any better place to stay in Kandy. Highly recommended.

Was located in a beautiful area. Wasnt too loud. Had a spacious room.

They dont really offer what they advertise. Facilities weren't that great. For an instance ; the remote they had provided for the fan didn't have batteries installed to it. Wifi was very poor.
