Could not go swimming for free in the sea. Seaside in Hurghada is private. Not the property's fault, though.

Paola went really out of her way to make my trip to Hugharda as enjoyable as possible. Initially I just planned to go diving for a week. But Paola has a lot of knowledge and recommendations about local trips and possibilities as well as how to handle getting around. This was really helpful, actually priceless and so I went to Luxor, which was a great 2 day short trip, went into the local city centre where tourists are barely seen and overall exceeding my own expectations about my trip. I saw far more than "just" aquarium fishes and I am happy for it.

The staff was really friendly and helped us so much. The house was kept really clean and looked nice. He helped us arrange the taxi and beaches, and with everything else. He really tried to make us feel welcome and home. Breakfast and the bites we got were really tasty. The staff was really friendly and helped us by arranging arranging breakfast and bites along the day. The hotel is a bit further away from the center so you have to use the taxi, but it’s really cheap, and there is no noice.

- Paola and her staff are excellent! We felt like family, from the great breakfast, to the help with organizing excursionsand giving travel tips, we were taken great care of! - She helped us organize a late night airport pickup as well as check-in making our trip even easier. -The bed was comfortable and room a decent size. - The bathroom although shared, never gave us any trouble with needing to wait for another guest. - It's only a short walk to the Egyptian Bazaars (not the touristy ones) and of was really cool to see the fruit market!

- It's a bit farther away from center of Hurghada do if you want to be doing lots of excursions etc.. so just be prepared to take an Uber, but that's really easy.

I had an airbnb cancel on me at 2 days notice and was really lucky to land on Villamar for my 8 day break. The manager and all the staff were really helpful and made all the arrangements for the trip which involved a boat trip for snorkeling and dolphins and sightseeing at Hurgada, bus to Cairo and a trip to the Pyramids and the National Museum of Egyptian Culture (recommended), followed by train to Luxor and guided trips there (Luxor, Karnak, Valley of Kings, boating on the Nile) and drive back to Hurgada with more snorkeling. Paula - the most friendly manageress you could wish for - said she was treating me like a little Pharoah - making sure I was passed without worry from hand to hand, so that everywhere I went I felt that the team was looking after me. Apart from the hostel team the best thing was the friendliness of the Egyptians, especially the kids. I'd recommend the nearby Family Resort beach and Da Vinci diving school beach for snorkelling. I only met Egyptians on the whole trip, and they were invariably friendly, even when trying to persuade you to go one further!

The property was fine. I especially liked the giant living room shared with Omar and Sara the kids and all the team. Of course it could have had a swimming pool like its sister hostel in Luxor, but what great value for money!

The owner Paola, the workers and her family is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast even provided takeaway breakfast before Cairo and Luxor trips which start very early in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. The internet connection was strong.

The family was so lovely and welcoming. They were very helpful with information about the area, helped us book a flight and gave some other suggestions for places in Egypt. The breakfast was incredible. The room and bathroom were super clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
