We spend two weeks with our two kids and parents (in total 8) in this beautiful Villa right next to the ocean. Our so lovely and kind host Eleftheria welcomed us warmly and gave us wonderful tipps for restaurants, places to visit, and things to do. There is everything and more you need for a perfect stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful, luxury house. Thank you for making our visit to Crete so special!

Our stay at Villa Elvina was unique for many reasons. The villa itself is gorgeous and very well maintained. Eleftheria was so kind and helpful. 5* luxury in a villa. Villa Elvina is perfect in every way. The villa was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space - both indoors and out - for our family group of five. It had all of the facilities we could want and more; we appreciated the welcome pack, the unlimited supply of coffee etc, the toiletries, the bath robes and of course the delicious chocolate cake! We loved the pool and the jacuzzi, the pizza oven and the proximity to the beautiful beach. There are three restaurants and a mini-market within a short walk of the villa. However, I would recommend hiring a car so that you can visit the nearby town of Kissamos, local beaches, etc.

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our older children, their partners and a toddler. The outside area is enclosed ideal for a lively child to run about and explore. Very clean and well thought out pools for young ones to play in safely. All bedrooms were situated in separate areas with their own bathrooms, this gave us all privacy and space. The property is well maintained and cared for, exceptionally clean and full of essentials needed for your stay. Well situated with a local taverna for breakfast and dinner, who also delivered food orders to the home. I would highly recommend staying here. Jordan family August 2017

Our family spent the most amazingly perfect week at Villa Elvina!! There were 6 of us, my husband and I, our 2 sons, and their girlfriends. The property is just as beautiful as the pictures, plenty of space for all of us. It was spotless and had everything you need or want. Eleftheria, the owner, was a wonderful hostess. She checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. One of our son's got engaged while we were there and Eleftheria brought a cake and a bottle of champagne to celebrate! There are tavernas a couple of minutes away and we had quite a few dinners at the one recommended by her. We will definitely return to this amazing villa!! Just perfect!

It is a very modern villa with a stunning and very large infinity pool,it has a very large front garden with well kept short grass thats perfect for ball games. Inside there are not 1 but 2 curved screen 40"smart TVs, they also have a brand new PS4 with FIFA 17 and NBA 4K games. There are lots of pool inflatables and footballs for kids to enjoy in the pool and on the grass. The hot tub is brilliant and there is also a large BBQ grill in the back garden courtyard along with an outdoor pizza oven. The views across the villa grounds over to the sea (which is literally at the bottom of the garden) are magnificent. There are barely any surrounding properties so peace and privacy are guaranteed. Also Eleftheria the owner is a brilliant host, always available if you have any questions and she is very kind and even bought us a fantastic chocolate cake as a gift midway through our stay.5 stars ? - it most definitely is and we will be booking again for certain.

The kitchen is well equipped, and the town of Kissamos, five minutes down the road by car, offers a grocery store and restaurant that make it easy to stock the kitchen. And if you don't feel like cooking, there are two tavernas within walking distance. The yard is beautifully landscaped, and the pool area features comfortable seating. There is a beach right outside the villa that slopes gently into a picturesque bay.The owner, Eleftheria, went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. One night, she even brought us a wonderful home-cooked meal, and a cake to help us celebrate our anniversary! The property is in a nice location, on the northwest coast. It is only a 45-minute drive to the picturesque town of Chania. We also recommend taking a drive along the wild western coast of Crete (which is easy to do from this location) to the famous pink sand beach of Elafonisi. The coastal road is one of the most beautiful drives we've ever taken. Be warned, though -- spending time at this villa is so enjoyable, that you may find yourself cutting back on your touring plans in order to spend more time here!

We had an absolutely fantastic week at Villa Elvina and would eagerly return. We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers (both between 2 and 3 years old), and we were absolutely spoiled for space (we had initially planned to also have one further couple with their toddler, and the amount of indoor and outdoor communal space would have worked very well for that too). Our experience was top-notch largely because of Eleftheria's fantastic responsiveness and attention to detail. She was very quick at responding to all queries, both before and during the holiday, and was a fantastic source of tips and advice on local beaches, restaurants and sights. She was also very happy to stock us up with Day-1 basics in accordance with a pre-travel list that we'd sent along, and was extremely kind and generous throughout the trip with little bits and pieces of local Cretan fare. Such a wonderful host! The house itself is also exceptional. Extremely clean, extremely spacious, great stock of kid-friendly toys and supplies (ie plastic dishes and cutlery, potty, high-chairs, baby towels etc). Landscaping is beautifully done, and the views down to the sea and across to the mountains were lovely. We didn't do a ton of exploring (two beach days, one morning in Chania, one afternoon nearby at Wave on the Rocks and a few trips to nearby Kissimos), as the kids were overjoyed to just play in the kids pool and on the lawn. It's a quiet, relaxing and peaceful place, with a great high-end feel based on all of Eleftheria's well-thought-out touches. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Me and my husband always wanted to visit Crete as my sister went there a few years back and she had a lovely time, but we were waiting for the kids to grow up a bit so they can come along in the flight with no drama. It took us a while to find a place to suit our needs in terms of space and location. People in Crete are excellent, very friendly and helpful from the very first moment. Villa Elvina was in my opinion the best option around. The facilities are immaculate, loads of space for the kids to play inside and outside, but also a stylish and extremely spacious contemporary villa. It is remarkable how they mixed the modern with the most traditional local architectural style. You have the option to stay in and play in the swimming pools (yes, two of them) or if you decide to go to the seaside it is within walking distance. Food and in general all the local products are from another world, we couldn’t stop eating. Chania is also a lovely city, very vibrant and lively with numerous options for dinner or a relaxed drink somewhere quiet with the kids, we didn’t visit any nightclubs, those days are way gone !!!!. Prices are extremely down to earth for what you get in both terms of space and service. We met Eleftheria and Michael there, the lovely couple running the villa. They had arranged our transportation from the airports requested and as a lovely surprise a huge dinner was waiting for us upon arrival followed by a bottle of red wine from Michael’s personal collection, we were speechless .They both gave us the impression that it is their mission to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Very attentive and friendly ,our kids still talking about both of them using their first names. I actually feel that I can keep going on and on and for that reason I will stop here.I honestly took my time with my husband to find something negative or maybe not so good if you wish but there is nothing there. I wish we get the opportunity to visit again. I really hope you find this helpful .

Villa super équipée et idéalement située pour visiter la région. A quelques minutes en voiture des plus belles plages de Crêtes. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour grâce aux attentions ( Gatêau, capsules Nespresso,Vin,...) et bons plans (Plages, Montagnes, ballades,...) des propriétaires.La villa est a quelques minutes des commerces. mes enfants ont pu profiter du grand et beau jardin, piscine, jacuzzi et des différents jeux sur place. En une phrase :What else?

We've rented many villa's on HomeAway and Villa Elvina is hands down our favorite. It's location on Crete is ideal. Close to some of the best beaches in the Greek Isles - Elafonisi, Falassarna, and Bolas. A short drive to markets and restaurants. Located right on Drapanias beach, which is a nice quiet beach with incredible mountain views. The villa is furnished with top of line furniture, which is extremely comfortable. A great place to retreat after a long day exploring the island. Truly a home away from home.

Great, quiet location close to some of the best beaches and attractions on Crete! The villa is very well laid out, the beds and furniture were excellent and everything was spotless. The pool was fantastic and our grandkids (and the rest of us) were in the pool or hot tub within minutes after returning from the beach! As an added touch, Eleftheria’s mother made wonderful Greek dinners for our family of eight twice while we were there! Villa Elena was perfect for our family vacation and we’d highly recommend it without reservation.

The villa truly is 5*. The owners have thought of your every need, all the furnishings, soft furnishings, kitchen equipment is all in perfect condition, and often brand new! Beds were soo comfy... towels lovely. ..The pool is perfect, all the poolside furniture was new and everything was just very high end. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful, nothing wad too much trouble, even to the point of bringing us a fabulous gift of homemade lunch on one day! Everything was cleaned and replaced mid week.... it was just all great. The villa has a beach immediately opposite, accross a dead end road which is very very quiet, with gorgeous sun sets behind the hills to the side of the bay. There are three great tavernas within very easy strolling distance and they serve great local food. There is also a (very) mini mart 2mins walk away which stocks the basics (excellent wine from local vineyard! ) Villa was easy to find by road. Can not recommend this villa enough, it was fab! Villa Elvina is one of the best places I've stayed. The villa was well kitted out (it even has its own pizza oven), spacious and the pool area was beautiful. The villa is set back a little from the sea and a long pebbled beach and close to two good tavernas but you will find plenty more within easy driving distance. We were incredibly well looked after throughout the duration of our stay. Eleftheria was very friendly and provided tips on where to go and the villa was kept very clean. The hot tub was a definite highlight. I'd recommend this Villa to anyone.

This is a truly wonderful villa. Every room is gorgeous with comfortable beds and lovely interiors. The pool is spectacular and the entire pool area is beautifully designed and comfy to lounge around by. The kitchen and dining areas are all great, of which there are many. We ate in several times and it was such an enjoyable experience because of how beautiful it all is. I couldn't recommend this villa highly enough. We were a group of 8-10 adults and there was enough space so you're not under each other's feet. The villa is well located with some taverna's nearby and you can take a taxi or drive to some of the best tavernas and beaches. Eleftheria who owns the villa is lovely and super hospitable, she will ensure you have a perfect stay. I hope to return to this villa one day! Thank you for making it such a brilliant holiday.

An amazing villa, we were all made so welcome by the owners Eleftheria & Mike. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are also immaculately kept. A great location for nearby restaurants too!

This property is an outstanding resort! Normally pictures of different villas have been photoshopped... Not in here. Almost everything looks like on the web. The location is a great base for many interesting trips, relaxing time at beautiful beaches around or spending time in picturesque towns like Chania. Swimming pools and a hot tub in the huge garden are magnificent and gave us a lot of fun! We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids, and we enjoyed absolutely everything in the villa and nearby, like a tavern run by Manusos who always offered us some Local medicines ;-) that delivered smiles to our faces. The cleaning (and BBQ) service was great as well, thank you John! There are no words to describe hospitality and friendship we have experienced from Eleftheria, the owner!!! She spoiled us with tonnes of local delicacies, including snails prepared by her Mother, and the best cakes and pastries. We will definitely go there again in future! Eleftheria, BIG Efcharisto!!!
