Hotel was very well located, walking distance from main attractions and the city centre. Room was also very comfortable. Hotel’s interior and exterior design also conveyed an old world charm. Service was also excellent.

One occasion where food on the ala carte menu was a little salty.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Ru Boutique. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me with anything I needed. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom. The interior was breathtaking. The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to many attractions and restaurants. I enjoyed visiting the Temple of the Tooth and the Kandy Lake which was right next to it. The food was out of the world was delicious and varied, with both local and international dishes. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy. It was a perfect getaway.

The place is gorgeous, truly an amazing boutique hotel tastefully decorated by the owners. The rooms are so amazing and the house is terrific. It has all the amenities you require. The location is very convenient around the lake and a short walk to the centre of the Kandy town. The service is excellent and the people are charming. I was in a lake view room which was beautiful. The rest of my family occupied a two bedroom suite with two beautifully decorated bedrooms. I highly recommend this place, and hoping to return for a longer stay in this gorgeous place situated in the heart of beautiful Kandy.

The only slight criticism was the two bedroom suite was connected with an internal courtyard exposed to the outside elements (mosquitoes and limited privacy).

We liked everything, the people and the service are amazing. They care a lot about the guests and welcome the best way possible. They are great with kids. We loved to stay there.

Very cute small designed hotel! Great location with lake view from the terrace and balcony. Fantastic British design of the hotel - all hotel looks very modern and new. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly and welcomed stuff. Good and tasty restaurant. Amazing breakfast outside in the garden with the lake view. Our category of room was upgraded complimentary without additional price. We highly recommend it to all people visiting Kandy.

if you choose a garden view bear in mind this is also on the (very noisy) road side, so if you need silence to sleep, better to choose a room on the back of the property.

This is a stunning boutique hotel located right on the lake in Kandy. It has lovely rooms and excellent service.

If we could rate it 100, we would 🙃 the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. They were trying to give us what we needed and kept on checking on us. We wanted to have a simple photo session with the family and they connected us with a photographer a few days before so we could arrange it with them. They also organized a half day tour for us with a great tour guide (Sunny). Though Sunny is not part of the hotel he is in the network and is very knowledgeable. He took us where we wanted to go, arranged a yummy local lunch for us (and secretly arranged a Sri Lankan breakfast for us at the hotel) and explained to us a lot about Kandy. We were Ru Boutique over Xmas, they had an Xmas dinner which was really really good. But in general food was good in Ru Boutique and we didn't expect less from them. Upon Sunny's hint, we got (SUPER YUMMY) Sri Lankan breakfast on one of the mornings! They also delivered Xmas gingerbread cookies and log cake!!!! Location is also quite good as some of the activities are within walking distance! Well done Ru Boutique! We hope that they continue to do amazing like they already are!

Fantastically well located property in the bustle that is Kandy. If you want to be within walking distance of the main attractions this is a great place to locate yourself.

was located right on the lake, staff super nice they surprise us with an upgrade and they were always very kind and smiling. structure is super clean and spacious room, I liked the design, hot water and amazing food at dinner and for breakfast.

It was a bit noisy since is near the road but nothing major. a bit slow service at the restaurant but all super nice and amazing food.

Really pretty hotel in a great location, lovely interconnecting rooms so not sharing a room with the kids for once which was great! Great small pool on the roof which the kids enjoyed cooling down in. Huge and tasty breakfast.

Very cozy and beautiful place. Nice location next to the lake and in a short distance from the temple. It was great to have a spacious room with a high ceiling. Very comfortable pillows and bed. Great shower.

We like to have windows/balcony door opened but the mosquitoes come in. It's a normal situation but the bed doesn't have a mosquitoes net.

The hotel is very well located to visit kandy by walking. Just in front of the lake and the tooth temple. The food was very good and the staff very kind and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful and our room was spacious and cool with a sitting area, 2 balconies and a lovely big bathroom. we loved the little pool for a refreshing dip after a hot day in Kandy! Staff were great and it was handy for exploring all the local sights

Quirky, colourful and tasteful decor. Warm and friendly staff - even suggested making us some ‘food to go’ for our early morning journey to the next destination. Good location - close to the train station.
