First, the hostess, Cheryl, was wonderful. Very responsive and helpful. The house itself has a great kitchen and lots of space. The setting, though, is the greatest! Our grandson loved rolling down the hill, playing on the little beach and spotting jellyfish in the bay. Everything was in good shape. Sitting on the top deck and taking it all in was wonderful.

Great little spot - a little musty when we first got there but lots of nice windows to open so wasn’t a problems. Lots of deck and great places to hang out and watch the sunset. We’ll equipped and Cheryl was lovely to deal with with prompt replies!

Wonderful hosts, beautiful location! Despite the 12 hr drive to get there it was well worth it. Swimming and kayaking everyday in crystal clean water, we never made it to explore Halifax. Many nearby hiking trails. We highly recommend a stay here.

Cheryl and Michael have a wonderful property. The views are stunning from the moment you walk inside. Their. Property is very clean and well appointed with everything that you need for your stay. They are very attentive to detail and communicate immediately with you. Just a short drive to Peggy's Cove and Halifax. We loved sitting on the deck and dock just watching the boats go by. Would highly recommend it to any family.

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped house on the bay. Very peaceful!! Perfect for families. Owners very responsive. We enjoyed the s'mores gift basket too!

Very beautiful, ocean front home. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, the paddle board, kayaks, and just sitting on the dock. The huge deck is fabulous for viewing the ocean. Check in and check out was easy, and quick. Our hosts left a basket of goodies to make s’mores.

This is a fabulous place to stay! The kayak, paddle board and fishing poles were great amenities. (I would suggest taking extra toilet paper though so you aren’t driving back into the city when you run out).

What a beautiful place to stay! We were in province for a realatives 90th Birthday and boy did we pick the right place to stay! Ocean front, great amenities and lots of room! We would love to come back!

The photos in the VRBO listing don’t really do this place justice. It has all that a traveller could possibly need, and more! Multiple games, and books for any age, in addition to a variety of settings in which to simply relax. We didn’t travel with any children, but there are so many things for kids and young adults to do. What the photos can’t capture is the relaxed atmosphere this wonderful place is saturated in! We enjoyed the living area with its fireplace, the well stocked outdoor fire pit & smores (provided by the host, thankyouthankyouthankyou) the kitchen island chit chats, and most of all, the expansive deck, watching the boats glide by in the ever changing tide. The owners provided all the important details and check in was a breeze. All communication with them was practically immediate! This was our first time in Nova Scotia and their kind help and friendly directions made settling in so painless. Wonderful. Just wonderful! One week in N.S. feels like just the tip of the iceberg. I hope to come back and this is our first choice of lodgings. If folks read this review, and are contemplating this home, please, just book it. You won’t be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. Having fires at night by the water and roasting marshmallows and sitting and relaxing with friends during the day. The location was perfect! We weren’t too far from anything. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a great experience. I would definitely stay again if traveling to this area again.

Overall the property is what we were looking for. A property to house 8 people, nice view, quiet, activities available for kids and teenagers. On top of that, the price was very reasonable.
