I had such a wonderful stay: the location was perfectly situated to the beach; the host were ever accomodating; the home was just that, a beautiful home away from home. It was very clean, had all the neccesities and was difficult to leave. On a scale of 1-10, it was a 12. (Would love to return!)

My family and I stayed for a four day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is located right across from the beach and has a lovely view of the ocean from the comfy leather chair on the closed in porch. The house fits 8 (we were 7) comfortably and is well appointed with beautiful decor, fully stocked kitchen, and beach items and games. Communication with the owner was very easy and they are close by for emergencies (like locking yourself out the first night!) We had a splendid time and recommend this location. Would love to come back again!

We had a great stay in Kinney Shores at Lauri's property. It had everything you could possibly need and more - including items for small children (2 years and 8 months -high chair, pack n play, kids plates/cups, extra blankets, beach toys, a beach wagon, floats) and our dog (water/food bowls). The location was incredible - being less than a minute walk away from the beach, you're basically on it which was so helpful if we forget items, needed to nap the kids at home, or make multiple easy trips with beach gear. The beach is big with plenty of sand during high tide, and amazing shallow sandbars during low tide - perfect for little ones (plus dog friendly). Having Lauri live right next door was helpful for last minute needs, and her and her husband were super kind and respectful of space. The main bedroom and living room has an AC unit, which along with the many fans they provide, helps to circulate air throughout the rest of the upstairs and main floor. The neighborhood was a classic beach neighborhood - quiet and cute with a little downtown near by that had an icecream shop/diner, coffee shop, and shuffleboard court. We would definitely stay again!

Our family absolutely loved this vacation spot. Our house was spotless and very roomy for all 8 of us. It was steps from the beach (which was our favorite aspect) and had a great lawn for the kids to toss the ball. We also loved the roomy deck or porch area for eating. The beach was perfect...pristine and sandy (no rocks to hurt your feet!). Overall, a wonderful, relaxing vacation at this home!

Very well maintained property with so many extras! The kids had a wonderful time with all the beach equipment provided. Lauri and Mike were such helpful hosts and seemed to have thought of everything for guests comfort. We would definitely return.

Such a perfect location with a very short walk to the beach. Lauri was so easy to book with and so friendly. Very clean with plenty of room. Outside shower is a great plus and very private. House has such nice older charm about it but is very well taken care of. We have no complaints and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The walk to the water was so convenient and you could see the ocean from serial places in the house. It fit all of our family with room to spare.

The location of this home is perfect. Quite location away from the craziness of old orchard beach. So convenient and easy to get to Portland. The home is steps from the beach. The beach is endless and the kids had fun with all the tide changes. The house has everything you need for beach: chairs, tubes, and boogie boards. It is an old home with the quirks that come with an old home. Occasionally we did not have hot water in the shower. The owner was great with community and very helpful.

This property was just what we needed for our long weekend in Maine to celebrate a graduation. It was comfortable for our entire family, including grandparents in their 80's. Those who wanted to walk the beach, need only walk a few paces up the street; Portland was only a 20-minute drive away and there was plenty to do in Saco and Biddeford.

This house was effect for our family gathering. The layout of the house is great for multiple people. Guests have privacy but there are also wonderful common areas for cooking, eating and hanging out. It is steps from a gorgeous beach. We took many long walks during the weekend.

I rented this house as a place for my sister, brother in law, and myself to stay for my daughter’s wedding. It was very clean, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed. I do feel the check out time of 9:00am was a little early to get the check out expectations completed, for example unloading the dishwasher. It was fine for just us adults, but to get children breakfast and dishes washed and put away, 10:00am would be a more reasonable hour. This house would be perfect for a small group who do not plan on having company, but if you plan on having visitors, keeping to an 8 person limit, including who is staying there, would be difficult. We had another property rented that allowed more visitors so it wasn’t a problem for us, but for our normal vacations, with daily family visitors, it wouldn’t work.

Super clean house and grounds. The house was wonderful, cozy and relaxing. Big, spacious couch was great for relaxing and for TV watching on a rainy day. Beautifully equipped kitchen with wide variety of spices and complete kitchen tools. Owner was very friendly, and always available for questions and helpful with local knowledge and sightseeing suggestions. There is great ocean view from the house - much better than the pictures. Walk to the beach in less than one minute! This location is ideal for sightseeing all up and down the coast.

We would definitely return to this property. Great experience for all

We had a wonderful time renting this property at Kinney Shores in Saco ME. The property was very clean, easy to find and had everything necessary to have a relaxing getaway at the shore. We loved dining on the large glassed in porch with ocean views. Comfy overstuffed chairs and a huge comfy corner sofa, room for everyone to spread out and relax. The owners live next door and were very attentive to providing a nice space. It was an added bonus that the property is dog friendly as our pup enjoyed the beach too!

Our family spent a superb week on Outlook Ave. Property was as shown on the site, beautifully decorated and very clean. A stone throw from the beach. We had the chance to meet Laurie the owner that was very welcoming. Our only reserve to fully recommend is our concern not to have availability when we’ll want to relive the experience soon. My family and I rent different homes every summer. This was the best property we have ever had. Lauri is meticulous! Her home was so well stocked and she was amazing. I forgot to order the linens. Saturday night she came over at 10:00 and took all the linens out for us. I can’t say enough about our experience. The home was so clean and well cared for. Next year we will be North Carolina- we plan to be back at this property summer of 2024!

The house is lovely and extremely well equipped. We were a family of 6 adults and 3 children. The beach is just two houses away - a 2-minute walk - and is beautiful. The host is very attentive to every detail and very responsive to any questions.

My family stayed here for a week and had a great vacation. The house is close to the beach, very clean, has updated amenities and everything is maintained well.

We chose this house for our first real family vacation, and it did not disappoint. It has the feel of an old vintage home but with many updates to make it modern and comfortable. Everything is decorated beautifully, the kitchen is recently renovated, all appliances were like new, clean and working. Most of the lower level is finished with two additional bedrooms; our kids used this area as their “apartment” as there was plenty of space for them and all their stuff. It was clean and bright and we felt comfortable with them staying down there. It also gave us some space for ourselves in the main part of the house. The laundry area downstairs is clean and spacious with newer machines. This level walks out to the garage area which has all kinds of beach equipment available for use: wagon, chairs, toys, etc. There is an outdoor shower with hot & cold which was nice to have to be able to rinse off three little kids after the beach. The owners live next door which actually gave us a sense of security as my husband and I run our own business and had to bring several laptops and various electronics with us to be able to continue to work from home, which we did most mornings (no problems with wi-fi either). They respected our privacy, but it was nice knowing they were nearby. While not technically a waterfront property, it might as well be. The beach is literally just steps away – once down the driveway you walk past one house and across the street is the boardwalk path to the sand. You can see the ocean from the living room and hear it if the windows are open. Close enough that if we needed anything while on the beach we just walked up to the house and back. The neighborhood and beach are clean and beautiful. There’s lots to do in Old Orchard Beach which is a quick drive (also bikeable) but Kinney Shores is a little removed from all of that and quieter which was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and are seriously considering returning next year. Thanks for tons of memories and a great week!

Can’t say enough great things about the property and location. House was clean and had all the amenities that we were looking for. The beach is a 30 second walk and the yard space at the house was great for the kids. Can’t wait to go back again next year!

This was our first time visiting Saco and Kinney Shores didn't disappoint. The house was great and had everything we needed and the location was even better! We had a group of 8 which included three small children and the ability to easily go back and forth to the beach was invaluable! No need to stress making sure to pack up the car with everything you need. The house was well equipped with beach chairs, wagon, beach toys, anything you need. The kitchen had everything we need to cook several meals at "home". The option of using the grill was great! The owners live right next door and are so helpful and available if anything is needed. We will definitely consider staying here again.

We rented this property for our son's wedding. The wedding's venue was only a mile away from the house so it was perfect for us. The house was clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, and exactly as shown on the pictures. The beach is super close and easily accessible. Would recommend!!

Really enjoyed the space and location of the property. The beach was such a short walk and nearly empty in the mornings. Short drive to food and other points of interest. One shower was a bit of a juggle for our large group, but we made it work! Appreciated the thoughtful touches from the owner. Would definitely recommend.

Great house, the pictures don’t do it justice - big, clean, very well-decorated (beach chic feel).. and feels like a real house vs a rental property. And 3 houses off the beach, great location. Lauri was so helpful and super friendly. Only wish we’d stayed longer! 10/10, 1000% recommend.

We had a wonderful week at this lovely beach home. The home is charming and has plenty of room for my children and grandchildren. Everything you need for a week at the beach is provided and it was a very short walk to the beach.

Pride of ownership is on full display in this lovely beach home. The owner lives right next door and personally greets guests upon arrival. The yard is spacious as is the outside deck area. Everything you need to enjoy the beach is provided for you including beach chairs, sand toys, cooler and umbrella. The home is clean, comfortable and updated. The beach is a short walk to the public access path, and by short I mean about 100 yards. It truly is lovely and we look forward to returning again.

The house was very nice. Large living room and the porch with the large table was awesome. Everything was in working order, we had no complaints about the property or the owner. Only issue we had was the horse flies on the beach. Overwhelming at times but we still managed to enjoy ourselves. Loved the area and the week was very nice. Thanks

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The house was very clean (which I'm so picky about!) and beatifullly decorated. There was plenty of room for my family of five plus my in-laws. The beach was beautiful and a great place to walk during low tide. We also liked that it was close enough for our teens to visit OOB but far enough away from the action. Overall, it's a lovely home in an amazing spot. Highly recommend!
