The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable - a great place to relax. It is situated so that each room has beautiful views and vistas. There are multiple outdoor sitting areas (decks) to accommodate every weather condition including rain. The owner was very helpful - meeting us when we got there, describing the house's features, explaining how things worked, and giving us suggestions on places to see and where to eat. The house is the last one on a lane, affording a lot of privacy. At the same time it is very conveniently located to many of the highlights of Nova Scotia e.g. Halifax, Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, etc. It was fun watching how the movement of the tide revealed an isthmus connecting the mainland to the private island that is part of the property as well as the variety of birds that frequent the bay in front of the house.

I feel hard pressed to find anything negative to say about the place. A broad sandy beach at the water's edge would have been perfection but the water was certainly accessible. Moreover, there was a broad sandy beach a short 15-20 minute drive away.

Beautiful home! Wonderful view and location! We loved it! The owner was very, very nice! All together a great experience! Will definitely make a point to return!

C-Scape was a beautiful spacious cottage with incredible views of the picturesque bay from every room. Added bonus was the island you could walk over to when the tide was low. Very private and quiet. The sunrises and sunsets over the water was spectacular! Very well equipt kitchen and all the amenties of home plus more. Barrie was an incredible host and showed us around and made us feel welcome upon our arrival.

No complaints at all and will be back.

The seascape was spectacular…enjoyed both sunrise and sunset from our bedroom. The home was spacious, the kitchen well equipped, and the beds comfortable. A wonderful retreat!

The tranquility, the views and setting, the quiet; the comfort.

Both the inside and the outside of the house are endlessly fascinating. Very comfortable house where you can really relax. The view of the cove and the low tide accessible island are an eyeball feast.

Great location on St. Margaret's Bay and close to Halifax. The place is well equipped, including with kitchen touches. Host Barrie was on top of communications and a smooth arrival.

Loved everything about the house. Full 3 bedroom!! Being close to the ocean. Looking out your bedroom window and seeing the ocean and all its beauty first thing when you open your eyes. Very private. Everything you would ever need and more.
