The location is great. On main street going down into Calheta near the bottom just behind bar and a bank. 2 minutes walk to the neach 6 or 7 minutes walk to supermarket. 2 minutes from Church. Located on the sunny south-west coast. Only 35 minutes drive via new expressway from Funchal. Within easy drive of natural lava pools on north coast, 10 minuyes from beauthiful Ponta do Sol. 20-25 minutes from the wonderful mountain centre at Racabal - from where many levada walks start. Served also by buses. Best of all Marco's preparations and willingness to go to great lenghts to meet us and give a couple a lift there from Funchal. Nothing too much trouble. Bardzo przestronny dom z nieskończoną ilością pokoi, dwiema łazienkami i ogromem miejsca. Znakomita lokalizacja bardzo blisko plaży - idealna dla rodzin i grup z dziećmi.

Widać, że dom ma nie tylko duszę ale i swoje lata.

Na ubytování nebylo co vytknout. Skvělá lokalita, parkovací místo jsme vždy našli, po příjezdu na nás čekal milý dáreček - ovoce, místní koláč a lahev skvělého vína. Ubytování je velice prostorné, čisté a pan Marco byl velice ochotný. Bonusem je krásný výhled na moře a zahrádka s grilem.

Estava tudo ótimo, casa espaçosa com tudo o que precisamos para nos servir, otima churrasqueira e terraço e uma vista espetacular a praia da calheta. Obrigada sr Marco pelo miminho que nos deixou de cortesia. A nossa familia adorou

The Casa is located conveniently very close to the beach in Calheta, and a short walk to an excellent grocery store. The house is very large with 3 bedrooms on the main floor, and two bedrooms upstairs. There is a set of stairs to reach the first floor and lower terrace, for those who have difficulty with stairs. Also quite a narrow stairway to reach the second floor bedrooms. Both terraces (upper and lower) were beautiful spaces to hang out and look out over the ocean. The house was extremely clean, the kitchen is very well equipped and Marco was a responsive host. There is a huge bonus room with a large TV (including Netflix) at the street level. Lots of room and games for kids. Excellent value for money.

We had no issues with the property. Would just caution people who have issues with climbing stairs. Also there is no dedicated parking, but lots of street (free) parking nearby.

Muito bem localizado para passear pela ilha, com uma praia de areia muito perto. Supermercado perto. Quase ao lado tem um café que faz brunch. A casa deu perfeitamente para 10 pessoas, para dormir e tomar o pequeno-almoço. O terraço com mesa enorme é uma mais valia. Na casa já existem alguns consumiveis como por exemplo de limpeza. Gostamos muito do anfitrião, que inclusive nos deixou uns miminhos de boas vindas. Boa relação qualidade/preço

O acesso ao piso superior é feito por uma escada estreita e não há wc nesse piso. Tem 2 wc no andar de baixo. Pode ser um condicionante para algumas pessoas.

Marcos house is wonderful in every way. There is loads of space inside and out. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need including a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable. There's plenty of spare linen if you need it. There are two bathrooms, one with a brilliant shower and the other with a bath. There are two outside areas, one with a big bbq and a massive roof terrace with amazing views over the village and sea. It's located a 5 minute walk from the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Marco was very helpful and very quick to reply to any queries via WhatsApp. All in all, one of the best rental properties I've been to.
