角部屋で変に広くて寒かった

Overall it was good 👍 staff were wonderful and helpful, courteous at all times . Their English was quite good and tried so hard to understand when not . The cleaning staff were super even when I told them they could skip my room they sneaked in later to tidy it or left fresh towels toothbrushes toothpaste & hairbrush in a bag hung on the door !

There was a good selection of breakfast food to choose from, however hot food really does need to be hot! This maybe is a Japanese thing because I found this in all 5 hotels I stayed in !

大浴場の入り口から脱衣所が丸見えなのでドア開閉時には注意。目隠しがあると良い。

The hotel is near to Nijo Station for both bus and trains. A lot of near restaurants and supermarkets as well.

Onsen was really nice and comfy. Washing facilities where really nice.

We where on 7:th floor, but the view was only the wall of the next building.

The hotel is well-located and only a few public transit stops away from the famous districts of Kyoto. The room was quiet and more spacious than expected. The staff was incredibly kind and patient. The breakfast featured a nice assortment and was well-organized. Modern room decorations and beautiful onsen as well. Great value for the price!

Got turned around and routed to the other Urban Hotel in Kyoto, so a heads up about the other locations would have been appreciated!

Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Location is a short walk from the underground station and JR line. Nice downstairs area where we sometimes stopped for a complimentary coffee before heading out for the day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value. Slept well.

Thought the room would be a bit small for a start but we were there for 8 days and it worked out fine.

Wonderful onsen and hotel room. Variety of food to choose from for breakfast. Bus stop is right outside of the hotel so it is accessible. There is also a train station nearby. Recommend taking the express train from kyoto station instead of taking the bus if travelling with luggage(s). Convenience store is also beside the hotel.

Not really in the city center but still accessible to attractions by bus. Could not find an iron/ironing board.

I liked the closeness to Nijo Castle and the station.

Still requires masks and gloves to be used while getting breakfast food, even though someone sitting right next to you can be sneezing and coughing. What’s the point? The staff at the breakfast cafeteria was very rude, especially the lady at the front checking the meal tickets. This is why I rate the hotel 2/10, we were so excited to leave because of all the negative experiences we had with breakfast staff. Out of the 5 mornings, 4 of them had issues with staff. We dreaded going to what was supposed to be a peaceful breakfast routine. From moving us from our table to a different spot, WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF EATING, with no explanation — to them throwing away a salad my sister bought at the 7-11 next door, and being overly on top of us and watching us the whole time - these people just need to RELAX. Would not recommend for foreigners, they seem to be biased and treat them worse. Would request a refund if I could for the poor service.
