Gorgeous property, all the comforts of home - great beds, well-equipped kitchen, amazing views. Plentiful towels, comfortable seating for all. Property manager was responsive when there was a power outage in the neighborhood our first morning there, and answered calls and texts with any questions. Great stay - would stay again!

Property was located perfectly! Close to beach and walking distance to restaurants and markets.

We loved our stay right on the beach. There was so much to do in the area. The sunsets each evening were stunning. The property was spotless with wonderful amenities.

Loved our stay and the proximity to Windansea beach and sunsets was absolutely perfect. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the house is a bit worn and tired and the 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor are pretty small and dark.

While the location, actual building, and sunsets were impressive, we were very disappointed with the overall status of the facility. Much repair is needed to make this premier property worth the premier price. Third Floor: - Door walls did not operate smoothly - sticking - Closet door off the track, did not operate properly - One of the faucets in one of the sinks didn't work at all - Shower in the back bedroom leaked water into the bathroom below on the second floor - Handheld shower head in master bedroom loose, came off the wall when operating Second Floor: - Kitchen faucet loose - Back bedroom shower did not work at all - Trash drawer does not stay closed - Deli drawer in refrigerator sticky, hard to operate - Door wall and screen door to porch sticky, does not operated properly - remote control for TV intermittent - Dishwasher does not clean the dishes First Floor (Lower level) - LARGE BUGS

The property management team at this home are great to work with and are patient if you have a brain lapse on something in an email you overlooked :) The house is as beautiful as the pictures indicate. You could stay at this house for a lifetime and the view from the kitchen/dining area and from master bedroom would never get old. Constant stream of fresh ocean air and waves crashing was perfect to sleep and wake up to. The master bath is beautiful, is open to bedroom so you still have ocean views but is high enough you have privacy. The kitchen and dining area were more than sufficient for big family meals for seven to cap off busy days at the Zoo, boogie boarding, etc. The house comes with 3 boogie boards and a sand play set (thank you for both!) and wetsuit rentals are available a short drive away in Village of La Jolla (the ladies at La Jolla Swim & Sport were very nice and got us all setup perfectly for fun at the beach). Outdoor hoses worked well for getting sand off before coming in and the big Samsung washer/driers allowed us to fly home with no dirty laundry which was awesome. The road in front of the home didn't get as much traffic as we feared and was mostly beach goers attempting to get a glimpse or quick picture of the view we were able to enjoy from the two outdoor balconies. Lots of locals walking dogs and joggers who were all very friendly. The beach in front of the property has more rock than open sand area so when the tide was higher Windansea beach is just a short walk down and had plenty of sand shoreline. La Jolla Blvd is close and will take you most anywhere you want or need to go and markets for food and drink are nearby. Overall, this is a perfect location and the garage plus two car driveway make this rental a no-brainer for anyone looking for the best location to appreciate a million dollar view with their family. We will definitely be back!!

Very nice property, the views are amazing and the beach doesn’t get too crowded off-season. Plus, since you’re so close, even during busy season, you can easily reserve a spot!

Our family enjoyed one of the best holidays at this fabulous beach house. The location is ideal and set up of living space is great for families. The sunsets are breathtaking and the home is well stocked with kitchen and dining ware. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. This home is a gem.

We rented this house as a three night “staycation” because my son and his family we visiting from out of state. We live in San Diego but going to the beach can be a hassle with parking and traffic so we decided a beach house rental would be fun. This house is right across from Windansea Beach which made it vey convenient and you hear the sound of crashing waves day and night. The view is spectacular and very soothing. The house was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The master bedroom is very large and there is tons of storage space. We didn’t use the lower level bedrooms so not sure what it would have been like sleeping in those. They were not as inviting as the rooms on the main and upper level. The furnishings were nice but in some cases not exactly like the photos in the listing. Because we were local, we were able to bring all the beach supplies we needed. The house doesn’t have any, including beach towels, so you would need to rent or buy those if you are flying to San Diego. The property management company was very responsive to our needs and made an effort to ensure we were happy. We would recommend the house to others and would consider renting again sometime in the future.

My family and I spent a week at this house and everyone enjoyed it. Beautiful views of the ocean. We rented bikes and were able to ride around the neighborhood, even down to see the seals. (Doable if you can ride on hills). We had an ac problem, which was resolved.

Fantastic property, beach front, views and sound of the surf are omnipresent. Well furnished, and entertained our group with ease. The only negative was the miscommunication by the property management at check-in. And their overzealousness upon checkout. We had a lovely time otherwise, and would return to the property. But would seek a different property management company next time.
