We loved all of the rooms and space yet could be together to stay. Nice place, clean and owner had great communication.

It was a beautiful house super roomy beds were great i can not say enough great things about the property and the owners super friendly and just made our trip even better i would recommend this to anyone .

Beautiful farm house and barn. House is very spacious. Pictures do not do it justice. A very fun place!

This house was great with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a party of 12 and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen had most of what we needed. Our kids enjoyed the rec room and played lots of ping pong. The house listing says it has hot tubs/whirlpool tubs, but really they are just the claw foot bathtubs in the regular bathrooms. Everything else was great!

We had a family reunion and 7 people stayed in the house and the others in hotels came over to visit. Good place for a group to gather.

Great place to stay. 2 year old loved the goats and weeping willow.

We spent the weekend with our family here. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large group. The property was clean and comfortable. Feeding the goats was a bonus that our grandson enjoyed. The only negative is the property's location next to a busy highway and it really wasn't that bad. We would stay here again and recommend it.

The grand kids, my eldest daughter and 91 year old mother just wanted to get out of town overnight. Mom hasn't really got out much since covid. Grandkids are 2,6,7 and 9 and really had fun seeing the goats that the property owners brought over.

This is a great option for family gatherings. Plenty of rooms, beds and showers. Very comfortable. Large kitchen where multiple people can cook at the same time. Fun game rooms in the basement. We had a ping pong tournament. Exceeded our expectations!

Property was as described and suited us very well for a holiday family gathering. Clean, comfortable, well appointed and spacious home that allowed multiple families to travel from many different directions and enjoy a meal together. Basement with ping pong and other activities was a good fit for a cold Iowa day. Loved having the extra refrigerator and washer/dryer onsite. The stairs were a challenge with a two year old but with a gate and barriers, we made it work. Nice to have a king and regular bed on main floor. This would be a great place for family gatherings, wedding parties, or groups to get together. Hosts were very responsive to any questions and easy to work with. We hope to return when weather permits the enjoyment of the outdoors!

Great place, beautiful landscape

We celebrated our Thanksgiving holiday here. It was perfect for our family. There’s a great table for enjoying dinners, cards, and conversation. There’s plenty of bedrooms and living space. It’s really a lovely house. We highly recommend it.

This was my wife and my birthday weekend getaway, There was 8 of us and there was plenty of room. We were pleasantly surprised how many rooms there were . The hosts were great, We couldn't find a blender so they brought us one. we will definitely going back.

Wonderful country setting

Wonderful spaces, inside and out for gathering together with family or friends. Definately a place to cook good food and gather for games or star gazing around the fire pit. Enjoyed every minute spent at this home.

It’s completely different stay for us. Loved it a lot. We checked in at around 10pm and was little afraid about the house. Its like a house with rooms which never end. By the time we woke up in the morning we started loving the house. Host was very communicative. He responds as soon as he can. Will plan to go back there again

This place is great. My family got together for 4 days and had a great time. it is close to town, but not in town. the house was very nice and comfortable. Everyone that attended said we need to come back next year!

I stayed here during RAGBRAI 2021. The home and the property were lovely and just as described in the listing. I'm very glad I chose to stay here!

Great place. House is perfect for larger groups. Great to each have bathrooms. Extra frig very helpful. Goats were a joy for kids to care for. Hosts brought us to a larger goat and chicken farm for kids to enjoy...thank you so much!

This house had so much room for our two families to enjoy. Lots of room for kids to run around. Big enough kitchen that we weren't on top of each other. Everything was very clean and well stocked.

We all had a great time! We are all use to being on the go all the time with our vacations so it took a little getting use to, lol. Very relaxing, lots of room to spread out. My middle son loved the game room down stairs. Stairs were a little steep for me so I never made it down there. Tom and Jerry the goats were a hit! My kids named them for the week we were there. Tom and Jerry followed my 10 year old while he hunted for Easter eggs. Its a good thing there was so much space in the house because the weather was not on our side. I think at least 3 days it was so windy we couldn't stay outside long. House had everything we needed. Owner set up some personal touches for my 3 boys which was very much appreciated! I would have to say my only complaint would be the steet noise. I am a light sleeper so the cars kept me up alot. But that can't be helped. Awesome stay! Thank you Donnis and Lacey we really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. There was lots of room and a table big enough to let us all play cards and enjoy home cooked meals. The close proximity to the beautiful State Park and Hampton enabled us to do a little hiking and pick up some needed supplies. Overall great experience.

Our family enjoyed all that Country Heritage had to offer! From the spacious rooms and delightful decor to the scenic farm landscape and down-home hospitality, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much Donnis and family- we are looking forward to our next extended stay :-)!

Tons of space for lots of guests. Located near bike trail, Beeds Lake State Park, Townsend Winery & Vineyards, and more. The firepit was very welcome on the cool fall evenings.
