Els and Anneke could not have been more helpful - our train was 1hr late so they continued checking for our arrival. The apartment was perfect for our five day stay, complete with food treat such as eggs, yoghurt and fruit and croissants and even a welcome wine. At the end of our stay Els was kind enough to take us to the Bus stop. Could not find anything negative to mention. Hopefully will be back

My husband and I spent a week in this fantastic apartment, owned by the wonderful Els and Anneke! As American expats, we lived near Haarlem for seven years and return every year to see all our friends. The apartment's location is an easy walk to the Grote Markt (fab Saturday market), shopping, restaurants (Metzo is a favorite for lunch and Black Beauty has the best pizza) and the train station. Having the bikes to use is a wonderful gift which most rentals don't include. We used them every day for transportation to neighboring villages. If using a car, no worries, Els always has a parking spot for you. We only used our car to travel long distances. Many evenings were spent cooking dinner in the apartment (we always shop in Mabrouk, in the Botermarkt, for the best lamb ribs!) then falling asleep within the comfort of the lovely bed. Our home in Holland is, and will always be, with Els and Anneke. We are so blessed by them!

The ladies met us us as our taxi from the airport pulled up to the door. They are an outgoing pair, gregarious and they smile a lot. The apartment was impeccable and just as described online. The fridge was stocked with things for breakfast and the coffee was great. Departure went as smoothly as arrival. I highly recommend this property.

This apartment was great. It was a real pleasure staying and enjoying this amazing place. The owners, Els & Anneke, are really special and having the opportunity to get to know them was great. To get bikes from them was also a plus so we did not have to rent them. The main floor were one bed is located did not have A/C but as soon as you open the windows it was not needed. The Master Bedroom has the A/C unit that was perfect for this floor. Finally, we fully recommend this place. Robert, Hania & Andres

Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag in dem wundervollen Appartment von Els&Anneke und es hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Das Appartement ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Sehr geräumig, hell und schön eingerichtet. Els&Anneke sind ganz tolle Gastegeberinnen und ließen keinen Wunsch offen. Frische Blumen, Sekt, Saft und alles für ein kleines Frühstück erwarteten uns. Die Lage ist toll und dass E-Bikes zur Verfügung stehen ist perfekt. Man ist in knapp 30 Minuten in Bloemendaal an Meer. Das Appartement ist zu 100% weiter zu empfehlen und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeberinnen und die vielen lieben Kleinigkeiten, die unseren Kurzurlaub noch schöner gemacht haben!

Wir wurden herzlich von der Vermieterin empfangen und bekamen eine Einweisung in die Wohnung und zu den Fahrrädern. Die Wohnung ist mit vielen schönen Details eingerichtet bzw. ausgestattet. Im Kühlschrank warteten sogar schon die ersten Köstlichkeiten auf uns, die von der tollen Vermieterin bereitgestellt wurden. Auch die Verabschiedung war sehr herzlich. Unser Fazit zu unserem Aufenthalt ist: Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We stayed in the apartment downstairs and it was absolutely amazing! Everything you could possibly imagine was at this lovely place. I cannot say enough about it. Location was perfect for walking around Haarlem. Our host Els and Annaka were AWESOME! So kind and helpful. Beautiful people. Apartment was super clean, stocked with everything you may need. They also had eggs, yogurt, and all kinds of goodies and drinks for us. Fruit too!! A stocked library of books on the Netherlands. Like I said, you cannot go wrong with staying at this place!!!! One of my favorite VBRO places, and I would stay again in a heartbeat. I will let friends and family know about this special place in Haarlem.

We loved our visit tot Haarlem and our stay here. The home was newly renovated and was immaculate and comfortable. It is an easy walk from the Haarlem train station in a very nice neighborhood near the canal. We could see the spires and hear the bells of the churches from our bedroom window and balcony. Els, the owner, was in touch with us early on with helpful information about arrival information and transportation. She met us on our way to the property and helped orient us. She left some food for breakfast and snacks. She is very warm and friendly and always willing to help us (she even rode her back to the train station to bring us the phone our daughter inadvertently left!). We wish we would have wish we could have stayed for our entire time in Amsterdam! We did not have a problems with the stairs, but that might be a consideration for people with limitations.

Het is echt thuiskomen in deze woning, aan elk detail is gedacht! De huiselijkheid en gezelligheid spat er van af op de foto's, als je binnenkomt voel je gelijk de sfeer die de eigenaar heeft neergezet. Het ligt net buiten de oude stad en je ziet de Spaarne vanuit de woning stromen. Alles is te voet bereikbaar. Jammer dat we er maar een weekend waren, de woning is een volle week waard om van te genieten!

Einfach gut

Fantastische Wohnung, Lage und Gastgeberinnen. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen mal länger dort zu bleiben. Sehr schönes, gepflegtes und empfehlenswertes Objekt.

Die Lage in der Stadt Haarlem ist perfekt. Man kann alles zu Fuß oder mit den vorhandenen E Bikes erreichen. Sehr saubere Wohnung mit freundlichen Vermietern. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden. Immer wieder gerne.

Unser Urlaub in Nordholland war rundum perfekt. Wir haben neben der tollen Stadt (mit schöner Architektur, Restaurants und Cafès), unglaublicher Natur (Nationalpark) und dem Strand die wundervolle Gastfreundschaft unserer Vermieter (Els und Anneke) genossen. Das Appartment hat eine perfekte Lage. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen und der Fluß Spaarne liegt direkt vor der Tür. Dank der Dachterasse lässt sich der Blick auf die Stadt im Sonnenuntergang genießen. Das Appartment ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich ab der ersten Minute willkommen. Dank des Einsatzes von Els hatten wir sogar einen kostenfreien Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Im Appartment war wirklich alles vorhanden was man gebraucht hat. Es hat an nichts gemangelt. Die beiden E-Bikes waren super und wir haben sogar einen Kindersitz zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Alles in allem war es ein absolut perfekter Aufenthalt mit sehr sympathischen Vermietern! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! :-))

Wir wurden ganz lieb empfangen, für eine Parkmöglichkeit wurde zum Glück gesorgt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Sogar der Kühlschrank hatte eine kleine Erstausstattung. Haarlem ist wunderschön und das Meer und Amsterdam mit den vorhandenen EBikes schnell erreichbar. Danke für den wundervollen Aufenthalt.

die Wohnung hält, was sie in dem Inserat verspricht. der Kontakt zu den Vermieterinnen ist herzlich und verbindlich. Die Wohnung ist sauber und die beiden e-bikes, die zur Ausstattung gehören sind super gepflegt. Parken war Dank der freundlichkeit der Vermieterin kein Problem. Sie hatte uns einen kostenfreien Parkplatz freigehalten. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Super eingerichtet... alles sauber.. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin..super zentral.. Sehr bequeme Betten!! Alles top, sehr zu empfehlen!!

Herzliche Vermieterinnen, sehr saubere und wunderbar helle und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit zwei sonnigen Terrassen, für morgens und nachmittags, liebevoll eingerichtet, mit Sinn fürs Detail, wie daheim und alles was man braucht, ist wie selbstverständlich da. Sehr hilfsbereit, mit Rat und Tat standen sie uns zur Seite, ob beim Parkplatz freihalten bei der Ankunft, beim Fahrradsattel anpassen- tolle E-bikes gehören dazu, selbst beim Einkauf der berühmten holländischen Heringe waren sie uns wie selbstverständlich behilflich! Els and Anneke are beyond amazing. Right from being greeted on the bridge by Els (even before arriving at the flat) through check in, a chance meeting on the street and through check out, Els and Anneke have thought of every detail. The apartment has many thoughtful touches like plants and flowers, a very well stocked kitchen and a beautiful place to call home for a few days. The bicycles were a great added bonus! We can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was! The apartment is close to everything.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni con 3 amici, devo dire che fin da subito la casa è apparsa accogliente ben pulita e arredata molto bene. Ci hanno fatto piacere alcuni dettagli tipo alcune cose per fare la prima colazione il caffe italiano e tante altre piccole accortezze che fanno sempre piacere. la cucina è molto grande come la camera matrimoniale. Ringrazio la proprietaria che è stata molto gentile e discreta. La posizione è strategica vicino alla stazione e con belle visuali dalle finestre Quasi dimenticavo i terrazzi si ce ne sono 2 e sono fantastici. LO CONSIGLIO A CHI VULE AMPI SPAZI Grazie

I stayed 4 nights in Els flat with my son who is 17. We loved everything from the beginning to the end. The flat is wonderful with absolutely everything you need. The place is amazing and Els a extremely nice host. We were warmly welcomed and received all advices to enjoy our stay. Thank you so much for everything and looking forward to come again !!!
