The location was beautiful. The grounds were lovely. It was close to town, just a short drive.

The pillows weren't particularly comfortable.

The breakfast was average. Many items “out of stock”. Resulted in very basic options.

Everything: the large and very comfortable room, the view, the breakfast and the kindness of the staff.

From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel like royalty. Arun, the host, definitely made us feel welcome. Food was amazing and plentiful. We enjoyed the kayaks, lounging on the beautifully manicured lawn by the lake and playing cards by the fireplace in the lounge. Thanks for having us.

This lodge was secluded on the most beautiful property. It is not too far from the city center but far enough that you feel like you've escaped all of the high tourist areas. It had private access to the lake (complete with kayaks, a dock, and a hot tub over looking the water). The breakfast in the morning was included and was incredible! We were so impressed with the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. We wished we had been able to stay longer.

Beautiful location about 5-10min drive out of Rotorua (bonus was that there was no sulphur smell). We stayed in room number 6 which had excellent lake views and a super comfy bed. Breakfast was terrific. Great value for money.

Beautiful lakeside location. So peaceful.

This is not 5 star. Waffles are from a packet, not homemade. Many things did not work. Dishes are cleaned without dishwash liquid meaning everything is smeary. We booked here because of the spa by the lake….. but it wasn’t working.

Restful and quiet. Staff went the extra mile with dietary requirements.

chef Arun’s breakfast were excellent and both their hospitality was truly great
