The room was okay and the bathroom was clean, The beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was served at St Andrews and it was horrible. The staff at St Andrews have a dont care attitude and they dont simply understand or care to understand simple instructions. The hotel is cutting down their costs by serving margarine but labelled this as butter. Baked beans were replaced with chick peas in tomato sauce. Even the sri lankan food were below par. Oatland garden is poorly maintained. The grass is not cut and there is weed all over the place. The place needs a colour wash badly. For the price paid this is overpriced.

Very good location, small walk through the back garden which leads to the main hotel where they serve breakfast and dinner and a nice little bar. We visited in December so very festive and cosy feel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating even made us a packed lunch for our trek.Room and bed were very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Can be slightly cold in the room and the house. Once the heater is on it gets nice and cosy.

All meals are good. Different kind of selections. Mr. Sanath the butler was very helpful. He helped us to prepare our baby's meals and delivered on time. He always checked and made sure that our stay is comfortable.

For meals we had to head down to the Jetwing - Andrew's.

Had a great time at this place in Nuwara Eliya. When the butler greets you, brews fresh tea and lights the fireplace, you are immersed in this atmosphere. An interesting experience to live in these interiors. The living room was a very cozy and pleasant place for evening gatherings. Comfortable beds and good breakfasts. I do not know what else to say. If you want to touch the history of the city, then this house is definitely the place to be.

It may be a little chilly until the fireplace is lit. But this is the specificity of this place and mountainous terrain. In this area, the island is always colder and rainy than anywhere else in Sri Lanka. The rooms have heaters, so you can sleep well.

We spent 2 nights at Oatlands and we had an amazing time. Sanath is lovely, discreet and extremely helpful and he made our stay unforgettable. Oatlands is a 1 min walk through a beautiful garden from Jetwing St Andrews, where we could use all the facilities. But staying in Oatlands really felt like we had our own villa in the mountains and the dinner by the fireplace that Sanath arranged for us was absolutely the best! We recommend this place with all our hearts! Thank you once more, Sanath, for everything!
