the room was super comfortable and the owner was very kind.The best thing is this rest house was only 1 km away from Nuwara eliya town.Anyone can walk to the center within 10 minutes.

The best guesthouse I've been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, quality rooms with all u need. The owner and his wife were very kind and helpful to us. Overall we had a warming experience with Sydney rest.

I would give 10 Star, but sorry I couldnt. unfortunately I got extra charges 1000 LKR sorry brother, you knw, that It was not good for Sri Lanka tourism. I got extra charges 1000 LKR because their system on Booking . Com not updated . I reserved Double Rooms, but they gave me Family Room. 1000 + 3000 = 4000 LKR a worst experience

Good location and hot shower.
Walked into the room and the first thing that hit us was the smell of damp. The room wasn’t clean and there were dirty marks all over the walls, the kettle had mould on.
We had to request clean bedsheets as the ones that we originally received were filthy. The room was cold of an evening time and carpet was very tatty. All in all it needed a deep clean. We spent our days trying to stay out of the room as long as possible.
We only spoke to one member of staff the whole time, a young boy, who was friendly enough.

Great place overall. Owners were really nice and helpful, it’s not too far from the city and restaurants. We came in winter months and it was quite cold in our room so make sure you have warm clothes with you! Otherwise we loved the reliable hot shower to warm up.

The hosts were nice, they let us stay longer after the check out in the reception so we can wait for our train.

Good location close to the city center. Nice balcony’s with amazing view over the mountains. Staff super helpful and friendly. Rooms where clean and hot water was available.

The room was good and nice located. After 10-15 minutes you are in the centre.
The hotel has some more rooms, everything is nice but it feels a little bit spooky 😊 It can be very cold in the night, hot shower for 1-2 persons available. We would choose this hotel again, but then i would be more careful with the booking prices.
It was bad that at the end, the owner charged us more for the room than we booked. I felt cheated.

No bedsheet for covering yourself before you use common Blanket. Quite cold and blanket is necessary but I didn’t like to cover myself it after so many people .
