For a week with my young girls near st ives this was perfect. The house was clean and perfectly presented with everything you might need for a week by the beach. Just out of st ives location meant it was peaceful. It was 7 minutes walk down to the beach and 15 back up! The beach was perfect. Golden sand and mostly with enough waves to try body boarding or just making sand castles. All the other tourist things are an easy drive. My only heads up for others visiting is all the houses overlooking the stunning Carbis bay are on a steep hillside. The road in and out might not be for the feint hearted or new drivers. But this is such a minor thing if your a half decent driver it’ll be fun and an adventure... my girls laughed whenever we turned down the hill.

The 8am check out... 9 would have been an improvement.
