We stayed at the Cornwallis house for 6 amazing nights and absolutely loved it. Our host met us there to show us around and help us set up - he got bikes out for us and our children, set up the volleyball net and lent us a tinnie. We stayed over Christmas and they had already set up a Christmas tree and other decorations and brought us additional Christmas plates and table settings. The spa on the veranda was beautiful- there were even plastic glasses so we could sip champagne while we looked at the view of the river and orchids. The games room downstairs was fabulous for the kids - they played table tennis, cricket, slip and slide and all sorts of games that were there to play. We enjoy jumping into the river and swimming. It was perfectly set up with loads of towels, everything you needed in the kitchen plus books, board games, DVDs, magazines, even a welcome package with bacon and eggs, croissants, treats and fruit. It really was a perfect family holiday. The whole experience was so much better than we expected. Thanks heaps! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Cornwallis House in October 2017 and held our marquee wedding reception on the beautiful lawn area outside. It was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for a more stunning location -- the house itself was so welcoming, clean, and very family-friendly, and the owners Alannah and Angelo catered for our every need. Nothing was an issue! They provided much needed advice leading up to our stay, and Angelo was on-hand to help us on the day of the wedding. The breakfast items supplied for our first morning were generous, fresh and delicious! All our wedding guests could not believe that this wonderful place existed. We would highly recommend Cornwallis House as a relaxing place to stay for a weekend getaway, or a wedding!

Upon arrival to Cornwallis House we were greeted by the friendly owners who walked us through this gorgeous property. We were pleasantly surprised by the grandeur of the house exceeding even our expectations. The house consists of high quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings which are in abundance. The tranquillity of the property with its various features indoor and out were thoroughly enjoyed by our guests with their children and ourselves, making it a very comfortable and a memorable stay. I would highly recommend Cornwallis House to anybody looking for a luxurious stay with the ability to host any event or function. The owners have done an outstanding job setting the property up for multiple families to come stay and play whether young or old. The sweeping views overlooking the Hawkesbury river are truly breathtaking and Cornwallis House is a "slice of heaven in the Hawkesbury".

My fellow bridesmaids and myself booked Cornwallis house to stay in the night before and after my sisters wedding. The house acted as the perfect backdrop for our pre-wedding festivities and made for a very comfortable morning. The spacious living area allowed for 1 bride, 5 bridesmaids and two mums to get hair and make up done without feeling overcrowded. The view made for beautiful morning photos and we loved staying there. We really appreciated the amenities available upon arrival as you don't often get that when staying in a property. Having breakfast products, juice, tea etc made for a stress free morning and we really appreciated that. Thank you so much for having us at your beautiful home. Hopefully we will be back for a relaxing weekend to enjoy the property a little more.

Our group enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this amazingly beautiful home! Alannah & Angelo were the perfect hosts, meeting us at the door Friday night to show us around the property. The property is hidden amongst the orange orchards. Although we were a group of 10 people the the 4 bedrooms are large, each with ensuites providing total privacy for each room. We also had additional blow up double beds set up in the function room to accommodate our large group. The kitchen is completely stocked with cutlery, crockery & appliances for all your cooking needs. Alannah & Angelo even supplied us with a beautiful breakfast for the first morning of our stay! The combined dinning and lounge area is very spacious and comfortable. The whole upstairs entertaining area was light & airy with full height windows and doors opening out onto a massive deck area which looks out onto the Hawkesbury river. The large downstairs " function" room comes stocked with lots of sporting equipment, games & even a table tennis table. The highlight for us were the beautiful hammocks that hang in the corners of the wrap around deck and the spa bath that looks directly over the Hawkesbury! We highly recommend this beautiful property for your stay in Windsor!

All 4 bedrooms are large with separate ensuites providing total privacy for 4 couples. The kitchen is complete with every appliance and accessory necessary for your cooking needs. The lounge room is spacious and comfortable, light and airy with full height windows and doors opening out onto a massive deck area which looks out onto the Hawkesbury river. The downstairs " function" room is massive with a vast supply of sporting equipment and games. We made great use of the table tennis. Alannah and Angelo were most welcoming and we were very happy to get the extra Sunday night stay which meant that we didn't have to rush out that evening. We can thoroughly recommend this beautiful property for your stay in Windsor.

I recently stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding day and we honestly had the most beautiful time. Alannah & Angelo were on site to great my bridesmaids and they had very sweetly stocked the fridge with bacon and eggs for breakfast and there was even a box of Malteasers waiting for us too! The house itself is stunning and we had a great time just before sunset lounging around in the hot tub taking in that stunning view of the lake and surrounding countryside. Very well equipped kitchen for a longer stay too! We will be back for our anniversary so the hubby can enjoy it next time :-) xxxx Jasmine

Celebrating my 60th Birthday at Cornwallis House was the most enjoyable experience - considering I was turning this grand age! The whole Australia Day weekend was a huge success. The photos shown on this website are exactly what you can expect when you view the property. The house is exceptionally roomy, having 4 kingsize bedrooms and a giant rumpus/entertaining area downstairs. I had 12 guests staying, so 4 guests were accommodated downstairs in the rumpus area. Alannah and Angelo had gone to great lengths to provide separate private areas for these 4 guests and each of them had their individual needs met for sleeping. The house is equipped with EVERYTHING you need to have an event. I had 28 guests attend my birthday that weekend and all cutlery, whiteware, glassware, tables and chairs, bars, tablecloths, outdoor bar tables and chairs and more were provided for a small extra fee per head. Usually, when arriving at any accommodation for an event such as mine, you expect to have to buy or bring items that are not provided in the hire fee. Well, in this case NOTHING was lacking. Pots, pans, pantry essentials and more! If you had of wanted to bake your own birthday cake you could of! There are two kitchens in the house as well as four ensuites which give you plenty of options for catering an event upstairs or down. The grounds around the house are private and the orange groves are very useful for freshly squeezed OJ in the morning! They even supply the electric orange juicer! Alannah and Angelo thank you so much for everything you thought of, supplied and did to make my 60th birthday weekend the best I could have asked for. Nothing was too much trouble and your attention to detail with all the information you supplied was much appreciated. All my guests who stayed in the house and those who stayed at the Seibel in Windsor were able to relax and feel at home in your beautiful home. A big thank you from all of us!

Our stay at Cornwallis house was amazing. My husband and I were married at the Sydney Polo club and stayed at Cornwallis house the night of our wedding. The night before I stayed at the house with my bridal party and we all got ready at the house on the morning of the wedding. The day after the wedding our entire families came out and we had a big breakfast. The property has amazing scenery and we got some great shots getting ready and on the balcony at the location, the place is well fitted with every facility you cam imagine. We can't wait to come back in the near future. Thank you!

We stayed at Cornwallis House for a 70th birthday event and really enjoyed it. The hosts are very welcoming and the facilities are outstanding. The three upstairs bedrooms are spacious and comfortable (we had 2 children and 2 adults in one of them and it was still ok). The downstairs bedroom is not as good as the upstairs ones but is still comfortable. Overall it is a great place for a group of people to stay.
