The house was well equipped to handle our group of 10, and could have handled a few more. Pretty much as described - a simple open plan living / kitchen / dining room with a master bedroom suite on the main level; and four bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Each bedroom featured a different forest animal in its art and decor! There's comfortable furniture throughout, supporting a relaxing stay.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! We booked Davids house for my wife's birthday trip with some friends and family. From the very beginning David was incredibly nice and answered each of my questions right away. He also wanted to make sure we had an awesome experience so he made sure to make our stay as amazing as possible and we 100% did! He is the perfect host! The house was amazing and in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were perfect with plenty of beds and the beds were VERY comfortable. The house is fully stocked for everything that you need and the overall atmosphere gives-off the perfect vibes for a weekend in the snow! You can take the shuttle to Northstar and they will drop you off right at the resort and then bring you back to your doorstep. The yard was perfect for sledding and David has plenty of sleds in the closet for you to use. All of us agreed we are going to make this a yearly trip and plan to book this house every time.

Great location and a cozy cabin. Plenty of room for 9 golfers to spread out and have fun.

Excellent property for large gatherings

The house was great for our large family. Plenty of beds and a well stocked kitchen. Only problem in kitchen were the knives. We cook a lot and they were really useless. The family that lives in the area brought knives for us. I suggest a sharpener be in the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are some wonderful hiking trails with in walking distance. Short drive to the grocery store and the beach. A good time was had by all.

Cozy and great vibes all around. Place is close by stores and all things to do in Tahoe. My family and I really enjoyed it! And made it easy to eat in when kitchens has everything you need! Will definitely stay there again I hope for winter next time.

We spent a few days in this vacation rental and had a lovely time. My son loved the snow toys, we played many of the games in the game cabinet and I don't have a single complaint.

Cabin was in such a great location and very cute! Just some things to call out - you really can only fit 3 cars and most of the light switches don’t work (need to use lamps).

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Tahoe house. The owner was very responsive to our questions and treated us like family when we got snowed in offering access to “owner” areas and supplies if we needed. The house was easy to access and the layout gave us lots of space to cook, eat, hang out and find alone time. The location was awesome for access to Northstar, neighborhood walks and getting snowed in for multiple days. We wish we could experience the house in the summer time when the decks and outdoor space might be more usable. The kids found the space between houses to be a great setting for a sled hill. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils baking sheets etc. The house has a great system where renters use food items, pantry items etc if needed and leave behind anything they might not want to take. The spices, oils and sauces were plentiful and the idea of donating to an already well stocked house felt good when we left behind pantry items which were not worth packing back home. The driveway was very spacious for our 3 full size vehicles. Winter Renter tip: the snow plows come by very early in the morning (when we were there) so the cars need to be out of the way at that time. (We parked cars in adjacent driveways which had already been plowed for a few minutes to allow ours to get plowed.)

The cabin was great for our needs, and great location for Northstar. There is a free shuttle to and from the mountain if you get the app which was very convenient. Plenty of beds, was hard for us to understand from description what rooms looked like with a number of couples coming, but it was 3 private rooms with queen beds, then 2 “shared” rooms (one with ~4 single beds with 2 in a bunk; and the other shared room had a queen size i think bunk bed); additional miscellaneous couch type sleeping space we didn’t need. Overall great though, would return

David was a fantastic host with great communication. He made sure our check-in was smooth and he was available to answer any questions we had. The property exceeded all expectations. There was more than enough room for 9 adults. The house is equipped with whatever you may need and grocery stores are nearby if you should need anything additional. Unfortunately it was quite smokey due to nearby wildfires, but we saw the beautiful surroundings when the wind blew the smoke out for part of the day. This location would be great during the snow season. Don't hesitate to book this property!

The kitchen is well equipped. It had plenty of utensils, glassware, plates, bowls and other cooking and baking items. The dishwasher fit a good number of dishes which was great as we made all our meals indoors due to the poor air quality from the fires. There were plenty of beds for a large group.

Despite no A/C during a super hot summer weekend, the downstairs stayed cool. You can’t beat the space on the porch for evening dinners. Tons of beds and a well stocked kitchen. Perfect for our group.

Great location, room for everyone - open concept first floor. The house is extremely well stocked, from linens to cookware to spices; flour, sugar, coffee - almost every staple that you could need. There are a lot of board games for all ages, and a beautiful deck. Easy communication with host!

David was a fantastic host.

We left Sacramento to avoid the heat for days and this was nice, no a/c however which is typical but would of been a nice add or more fans. Not to far from everything an neighbors and surrounding area wasn’t super rude due to us not being locals.

This house and location are beautiful. The house is stocked with pretty much everything you need and so much more. Literally like a 15 minute drive to kings beach. The house is very spacious and kid friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for the weekend.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay, the house was great, the location is perfect and you can't beat the shuttle that takes you right to the village. We will be back again!

A great place to hunker down and enjoy the snow. Plenty of space, so we didn't feel cramped. Love that there were plenty of snow toys at the property, kitchen was well stocked, and the location was ideal. The property backs right up to some great sledding hills!

This spacious cabin was adequate for our family’s holiday getaway. Excellent location in Northstar with well-equipped kitchen for cooking large meals. While the overall property is a bit dated, we still had a terrific time. There are lovely walking trails steps from the house and perfect sledding spots nearby.

Great all the way around

This cabin is a great bargain for anyone looking for a multi-family vacation. We had 3 families with 2 young kids and a couple older kids and there was plenty of beds and plenty of space. It's very well equipped with stuff to keep everyone entertained. In terms of the location, it's great. Right on the on-demand shuttle route, 5 minutes from the village where there's something for everyone. Second time here and probably won't be the last.

This home is exactly as pictured. Owner very responsive.gorgeous peaceful view off the large deck. Super clean. Lots of space and the kitchen is set up very well with everything you need for cooking and baking. Tons of linens, easy drive or shuttle run to the village. Each room has either a memory foam mattress or standard mattress so you can pretend to be Goldilocks and find the best fit. We enjoyed the home.

Best spot in Northstar and David was super responsive. Wish we had more time there. We were 14 people and it was quiet cozy...

We had a great stay at David's home. Excellent communication throughout, with easy check-in and check-out The house was even bigger than pictured, with plenty of space and beds for large groups. Great location less than a mile away from Northstar Village. The shuttle service was quick and effective. David was gracious and flexible with check-in and check-out times. Overall we had an awesome time and hope to be back soon!
