What can I say? Such a beautiful quirky cottage equipped with everything you’d ever need. Fantastic location and super helpful host!

Nothing! My teenage daughter and I absolutely loved everything about it!

Debbie was a wonderful host, the cottage was a delight. We loved the roomy top floor bedroom, so pretty. We will definitely be booking again, and maybe try another of Debbie's lovely themed cottages. Debbie could not have done more to make our stay a success, one of our party is very elderly and Debbie took great care to make sure she was comfortable. The cottage is very well located, we enjoyed the record player and the very imaginative decor.

Nothing could be improved, but the stairs are quite steep as it is a very old ( and lovely) cottage, so maybe take care with that aspect of it if you have a small child or an elderly guest. Obviously this is not a problem for most people.

Decoration, we should have read the blurb and looked at the photos as it was, unsurprisingly given the name, theatrical with lots of stuff such as Christmas lights, feather boas, Venetian masks.

8 Opera Suites was clean, warm, comfortable home from home. Everything you need for a lovely weekend away. Just love this place, the decor is stylish, beds are soooo comfortable. Excellent location, quiet but not too out of the way.

Just lacks a little dust pan and brush, we like to clean up after ourselves. Should have really mentioned it to hosts but were having too much of a good time.

All the small details just made it extra special.

exceptional attention to detail with a very warm welcome and easy to follow instructions

Very well organized, the friendly and helpful host even sends videos so you find everything easy. Very clean and tidy, fully equipped and a welcome surprise, like coming home. You are in the center of everything (super market 50 meters for instance) in short walking distance; you get a car park license to park your car a few hundert meters away, you can unload in front of the door. Quiet place.

Outstanding accommodation and location

Parking is an issue but doesn't affect your stay as the host has a pass for you to stay close to the location

Central location & parking for one car included - free parking for other car was a 5 mins walk. Debbie sent videos of the cottage & of the town in general - very helpful & was around & reachable by phone during our stay for help. Our bed at the top of the house was comfortable with plenty of space & our friends were happy with the 2 single beds in their room. Toiletries provided in bathroom Decoration throughout the cottage needs to be seen to be believed - beautiful!!!

No bins in rooms so we pinched the one out of the living room Lack of mirrors for makeup & also lack of good light. Not enough toilet rolls for 4 adults for 4 days. Duck board in bathroom lethal - very slippery getting out of bath needed to grip grab rail tightly to do so & made the basin too high when needing to brush teeth & wash face. My wife’s foot slipped between the gaps in the board causing her pain as it twisted. Be careful putting refuse in kitchen bin as there is a cupboard immediately above - for a tall person like me, it meant cracking my head at least once. No tongs or scissors in kitchen Also no salt or pepper Plates too big for washing up bowl All Minor niggles apart from the duckboard.

The host made it very welcoming. Table was set beautifully for Tea time arrival with cake and a bottle of bubbly with some classical music in the background. Our transport were three motorbikes and parking is not readily available in this narrow street but the host in conjunction with one of the neighbors arrange off road parking for us on private property, which they really did not have to. It was so very much appreciated. Thank you so much Debbie and Robert. Llangollen is a beautiful place to visit.

Temperature on the shower was a little tricky to adjust and beds were a little soft for my liking. Did not like the feel of the bedding, but that is a personal thing.

Would highly recommend 👌 everything was perfect from start to finish, Communication, accomodation and all facilities, also location. we didn't want to leave 🥰

Keys in a key box. The property was in a nice quite street, you can’t park at the property but there’s ample car parks just a couple of minutes walk. The host was very helpful, upon arrival we had cake & tea waiting, just need to add hot water..

Nothing really, the kitchen is small but that works.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. A welcoming bottle of plonk and chocolate cake was a nice surprise. Tea coffee sugar etc supplied as well as cleaning equipment. Free toiletries in the bathroom that smell lovely. Love all the pictures around the cottage. Comfortable beds and plenty of storage space for clothes. Everything you could possibily need in the kitchen. Outdoor space to chill. Excellent location. Ease of parking due to the parking permit. Will defo return.

This is my own opinion, although the fairy lights are decorative, I just don't like wastage of electricity. Plus the TV was left on when we arrived. You could use a small waste bin in the bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay, and enjoyed it so much we even extended it for one more day. The cottage is lovely, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention is put into it. The host is lovely and communication was very easy and quick! I will definitely return here :)

The owner Debbie was in communication with us before our arrival giving brilliant clear details for parking, finding the house and keys …. Really helpful and so friendly. The photos of the house don’t do it justice from the moment we walked in we loved it. So nice to stay somewhere that is different but tastefully done compared to the usual standard decor we have had in other places. It is in a great location all the restaurants and shops just round the corner but still quiet and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again when we visit the area

Absolutely wondeful property, the photos don't so it justice! I travelled with my husband and mother and they were just as happy with the place as I was. Fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from town. Debbie the host was also really lovely and very helpful.

Lovely old property with quirky features. Lovely place to stay and plenty to do in and around Llangollen.

Everything. The communication, the decor, the location, it was such a wonderful property. Little touches like a cake to welcome us, fairy lights and a tray set out for afternoon tea. Couldn’t fault it. Llangollen is also so friendly and welcoming, especially with our dog too. Will def stay again.

The property was stunning it was immaculately clean. It’s decor was quirky but cute so much fun and I kept seeing new bits as I looked around. Very comfy and cosy, close to all the amenities. Can’t recommend this property highly enough there just aren’t the words it’s amazing.

Debbie is a wonderful host. She welcomed us upon arrival with a bottle of champagne, cake and tea. It was a pleasant surprise. Throughout our stay (2 weeks!) she was always ready to help and indeed was very helpful and kind to us. The house is really lovely and it’s right in the center of Llangollen which is a jewel of Wales

It’s just me: I had a problem sitting on a chair with a pattern like it had. This is in no way a complaint
