Le personnel était vraiment très gentil, serviable et poli. Elles m’ont aidée à mettre mon kimono quand je le leur ai demandé, la mère a même été jusqu’à le coudre et me prêter ce qu’il manquait. Elles étaient très gentilles et fraternelles avec moi. Je pense que ce séjour était vraiment très bien, tout était très propre, calme, respectueux et très typique japonais. Les futons étaient très confortables, la chambre aussi, avec des yukatas à disposition et du thé matcha. De plus, l’établissement est à 5 min de la gare à pieds, proche de nombreux restaurants et à environ 30 minutes à pieds de la plupart des attractions du centre ville !! Les prix sont aussi très abordables. Je pense que cet établissement est très bien géré et de très bonne qualité. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil !!! 我相信选择这里的人肯定不是为了现代化设施，而是为了独特的体验。我住的房间里，我能找到昭和 46 年（1971）元旦时的刻字。我当然不是鼓励各位在日本馆刻字，但我想这也体现了这家旅店的历史——超过 50 年（我的评论写于 2024 年）。我也曾读过些许日本文豪的作品，一些背景故事中，大正、昭和时代的文豪们常常以和式旅店写作的形象出现；应该说，日本馆很好地帮助我体味到了这点。 我先将行李放在前台、游览了一圈才回来办理的入住。但我发现我的行李（20kg+）已经被提到二楼我的房间了。每次我下楼我都能看到老板娘从房间里钻出来看我是不是有什么需要——服务太周到了。 厕所和浴室非常干净。提供浴衣。能用英语同对方沟通——虽然有时对方会回复日语，但都是我能听懂的简单日语，所以对我来说没问题、反而感觉更贴合身在日本的体验。 祝老板娘身体健康、生意兴隆！有机会再来京都我会考虑住第二次的！ I believe people choose this place not for the modern facilities but for the unique experience. In the room where I stayed, I could find the inscription on New Year's Day in Showa 46 (1971). I'm certainly not encouraging you to engrave in Nihon Kan, but I think it reflects the history of this hotel - over 50 years (my review was written in 2024). I have also read some works by Japanese writers. In some background stories, writers of Taisho or Showa period often appear in the image of writing in Japanese-style inns. It should be said that Nihon Kan helped me appreciate this very well. I left my luggage at the front desk and took a tour before coming back to check in. But I found that my luggage (20kg+) had been carried to my room on the second floor. Every time I go downstairs, I see the landlady coming out of the room to see if I need anything - the service is so attentive. Toilets and bathrooms are very clean. Yukata provided. Able to communicate with the landlady in English - although sometimes she may reply in Japanese, it is all in simple Japanese that I can understand, so OK for me and make me do feel I was staying in japan. I wish the landlady good health and a prosperous business! If I have the chance to come to Kyoto again, I will consider staying there for a second time!

晚上光线有些不足，我很难工作，不得不将茶几移动到灯下；幸运地是我带了 USB LED 灯，所以我也能自己补光——但这真的是很小的问题，只要你不打算工作的话。 The light was not enough at night and it was hard for me to work and I had to move the tea table under the lamp; luckily I brought a USB LED light so I could fill in the light myself - but it's really a minor issue if you don't plan to work.

The common bath is small but unique experience for me.

Curfew was OK for me, but can imagine being a problem for others. Cannot open the window in the room or seeing outside, but I didn't need to.

For just 10 Euros per it is a very good deal. It is unbelievable cheap

No major flaws. The walls are a bit thin. But the nights were mostly quiet.

great spot and the place was just a nice traditional spot where you slept on a tatami mat. the hostess would take your shoes and great you everytime you came and went. you get a robe and they have a bath here too

the only thing I’d ding them on is the weird hours for showers and lock out hours. 9pm last shower and 11pm lockout. makes using this as a base to run to Osaka a bit tricky as there were days I skipped showers (and had to rush back before 11pm) otherwise, it’s great!
