Our room was large and very comfortable with a fantastic sea view, very clean and well maintained throughout - you need to remember these B&Bs/small Hotels are in old building and most do not have lifts so there could be lots of stairs to the top floors. Breakfast was superb each day. There is ample parking in Weymouth however at busy times the parking around the seafront is taken up quickly and there is also a free parking scheme with the B&B's/hotels around Weymouth. You will not find a friendlier and well situated hotel (within 10 meters of the beach and harbour areas)

Shower didn’t work to a satisfactory standard due to lack of pressure. Bed was uncomfortable with the bed springs pinging in the night, disappointing for £100 per night. Also got notified after leaving the property that the cleaner noticed the shower pressure was low but it was all sorted now, these are checks that should have been conducted before our arrival.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. Our room was very clean and tidy, decorated lovely. We had fantastic panoramic views of Weymouth seafront, we were literally in the closest b and b to the beach. The breakfast was delicious. The whole place was beautifully decorated throughout and you can see that the proprietors John and Sue, really care about their home and business. Already booked for next year, can't wait!

Exceptional location with amazing sea views - you can see the whole of Weymouth beach, which looks even better at night all lit up. Loads of information was provided online which made everything very easy, check in was straight forward and we were able to find parking easily on the streets nearby. Breakfast was delicious and the service we received was very good!!

Shower did not work for the first few minutes it was turned on. Bed hard with thick ridge going down the middle.

Friendly staff, really enjoyed the cooked breakfast. No complaints.

The shower/toilet room in my single room was cramped for someone of my size, but I'm unusually tall. Other people may get on with it just fine. It was perfectly clean and functional though.

The View from the room was excellent looking over Weymouth bay, room was clean and bright ,shower was good nice pressure and easily controllable. and we could open the windows as we wished.

The bed could have been better it seemed higher in the middle like you were going to roll out, The breakfast was ok but could have used better quality products.also no potato with it, i do not really like deep fried sausage fresh tomato would be better than tinned and fried mushrooms.

The location was superb for enjoying the sights, restaurants and bars of Weymouth. Lovely view from the rooms.

The parking dominated my stay. I had to keep popping out to move the car so as not to be fined. If your lucky enough to get a permit (there isn’t one for every guest) it makes life easier. Otherwise, I paid nearly five pound for a hours’ parking. The parking is free if you can find a space from 6pm to 8am.

Getting up stairs to bedroom though manageable as my wife was recovering from hip operation.

The host was friendly and nice, very good location.

At the time of purchase it was noted that there is a private parking space, but there is not. I had to pay in the public car parking. And it costs a lot. The bed is very uncomfortable.

We didn't have a parking permit. I had a stick and my husband can only walk short distances. Parking was a nightmare on the second night we drive around for miles unable to park anywhere. Finally we saw someone leaving and dived in the space which was half a mile from guest house. Not the hosts fault but we did expect a parking permit as parking was advertised

Everything about the Cavendish was great. Plus ideal location. Will return next year. Fab couple of nights !!

The plug in the sink needs fixing as it did not drain away. The sink was too small and so was the bathroom. Good do with some updating.

the property was on beach front which was good close to the town and everything else the staff were lovely breakfast was lovely

the only bad thing was that the room was always cold no heating

The view from the top floor over Weymouth Bay was fantastic. Breakfast was very good! The manager was very helpful and took our cases up to our room.

We were a late booking so had a fourth floor room, so quite as climb.

Amazing trip, thank you couldn’t ask for Any more!!
