Very pleasant. Staff was wonderful and nice. Nice cruise with a chance to activities during the first evening. Food was very good!

Rooms were not very clean, stains on sheets etc. They were reluctant giving us keys first as they did not want guests to lock their rooms which was strange considering it was a shared boat and it docked on several occasions. They did however give us keys so we could lock our rooms after we asked management.

Food was amazing and the staffs were extra courteous to take care of our food requirements. They offered us to cook special sea food delicacy. We had a chance to take a small boat to enjoy the backwater. It felt like a cleaner version of Venice.

We had a good experience in the house boat. However, afternoon was terribly hot and stuffy. Cleanliness was not upto the mark. We were asked to leave our shoes at the entrance but boat was not clean enough to walk barefoot.

the food was delicious and generous quantities, the staff were absolutely fantastic and we loved our captain!

the rooms were tatty and dirty, without much of a view. the boat didn’t have any good outdoor relaxation areas which meant most people spent the day in their rooms. we regretted not getting a day trip and staying at our lovely, beachside hotel in allegory, for a fraction of the price.

The food was okay and the location was fine with staff being accommodating.

1. The rooms are not like what is shown here- clearly disappointing as I booked 2 deluxe rooms for 3 people each, the space is not enough and it should not accommodate more than 2 people. 2. No WiFi, minibar or clothes rack 3. The room is clean but there is not enough water to flush the toilets. 4. Options for breakfast were too limited - only idli sambar with tea. Welcome drink was diluted maaza.

everything was sub standard- rooms had lizards, outdoors were falling apart, cleanliness was not there, if you see the kitchen staff dress how dirty it was you wouldnt like to eat the food, there are ACs in common areas but they don’t work or staff doesn’t want to switch them on, common areas were sleeping place for staff so you can stay there after dinner is done and have to move to the small room of yours. felt like being in jail and had to follow time rules of the houseboat. better take small boats and have full privacy and control of what you want to do rather than being commanded around.

People, decent accommodation for the price

Food should be localized and more options , especially non veg. There should also be more inclusive activities for visitors

Comparing to other House Boats, this one is having AC in dining always (though it starts at 9PM for the rooms), it is very big, Cruise Driver/Captain and Staff are very friendly.

Very welcoming staff, well planned stay with amazing excursion on a boat through the backwaters! Very good food. Exceeded expectations. Generally clean throughout.

The balcony only had about 9 seats for about 25 guests and was quite tight. The beds were too firm and the toilet ran out of water to flush. There were minor because of the excellent value for money.

They offered us a single boat of two rooms at very good prices, kerala Boathouse is a sensational experience and I highly recommend the southern panorama cruise in giving a delightful experience. The food was very tasty - kudos to Chef Ashok.
