Charmant geführtes Hotel in bester Lage, Service freundlich und ausgesprochen zuvorkommend. Die kleinen - architektonisch sehr reizvollen Villlen - tragen die Namen der Blumen, die im dazugehörigen Gärtchen angepflanzt sind. Die gemütliche 'Wohnstube' der Häuschen ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ( vorweihnachtliche Kissendekoration, kleiner künstlicher Kaminofen, alle Zutaten für den ersten Morgenkaffee mit Doka-Estate-Spezialitäten-Kaffeeprobe und eigener Kaffeemaschine vorhanden ). Frühstück mit Panoramablick auf die wunderschöne Landschaft. Sehr sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt!

No TV in the lodge, very small room of the lodge and the lodge has a very wired design that hard to see the scenery outside. Very compact bathroom too. Breakfast is not buffet.

Well set up cabins, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Tasty breakfast and restaurant is open for dinner, convenient as nowhere to eat within walking distance.

The service was terrific, although we were spoiled by the fact that we were the only guests on the premises. We particularly enjoyed bird watching from our porch.

The lawn crews and power tools created a horrible racket, both on the property and the surrounding area. I don't know how to avoid this, because we obviously enjoyed the handsome landscaping.

Lovely little chalets in a beautiful scenic location. Full Restuarant on site and the Food is excellent with many family recipes in use. Family owned and run business with many of the family working on site.

The staff is really lovely, you have several options for breakfast. Location is good for visiting the Poas volcano, the concept is lovely as well - little cottages between grass and hydrangeas.

Price is a bit high considering the facilities.

Wonderful cozy chalets

This place was absolutely perfect! Checking in which was so quick and easy, very friendly and helpful offering to assist with booking trips. The chalet was beautiful and clean with everything you needed. The grounds are lovely with humming birds easy to spot and the location is perfect if flying into San Jose and wanting to explore La Paz waterfall and Poas volcano. Breakfast is not to be missed especially, nor meals in the restaurant. It is all freshly made from scratch including the bread and sourced locally so the food was excellent. We are looking forward to staying again on our next visit!

Hot water didn’t work or it really wasn’t hot. Weather is so cold in the mornings that hot water is crucial

Comfy and clean. It was cold, for CR, but the casitas come with a heater that worked great. Plenty of blankets tho, and the hot water was hot:)

Wifi was weak. Didn't bother us, but just mentioning, in case it's important for future travelers.

My family loved the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Everything was spotless. The heater in our room was a pleasant surprise. The friendliness of the staff was superior.

The view is really nice. cabins are comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly and make you feel at home.

The cabins face the parking lot and not the beautiful view. There was no railing to go down to the sitting area where the view could be found. And the benches there were extremely uncomfortable. Some chairs out there to see it would be nice and a railing to make it accessible. The beds were overall hard and a second heater doesn’t work, but the first did. No hot water in the shower.

Lovely place to stay. Wonderful staff really went the extra mile to make the place comfortable.

1) amazing service! everybody was very helpful, welcoming and kind. 2) the property and the chalets were beautiful. everything was clean, decorated, they had beautiful flowers on the property. They even grow strawberries on site which is pretty cool. 3) they have a games room which overlooks the mountains which was nice to have. we played ping pong before dinner. 4) the restaurant is amazing !!! the food is so so good. we are breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant and loved it all. the breakfast included in the stay was great. we are so happy with our stay, I would highly recommend and I would come back here. the location is good if you are visiting la Paz waterfalls or the poas volcano, or if you just want to relax and enjoy beautiful views.
