Close to beach.
Asked for extra towels, got told there should already be enough in the rooms.
(Showered late the night before) (wanted another in the morning) haha. Just used my towel from the night before.
Ants in cupboards where plates & cups are stored under bench.

Nice little room/suite facing the water (well ours did). Compact, but functional, and a short walk to the town center. Nice staff.
Bar next door was initially loud, although they quieted down fairly early in the evening.

The unit was spotlessly clean, right by the sea, easy walk to restaurants and the town. There kitchen was equipped with a small hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and utensils to make breakfast and a simple supper if needed.

Ala Moana is a great location for access to the shops and restaurants and wharf area where all the tours and ferry’s leave from. Owners very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paihia.
Everything was excellent. We had no issues at all.

Comfortable, clean room. Good shower. Good location, close to the town but set back from Road so quiet. Owner/managed a very pleasant & helpful guy. Good value for money.
I didn’t dislike anything. Maybe a little dated for some, but everything works and is spotlessly clean.

John was a great host with assistance from Kim (his dog). We had unit 9 which looked down the driveway to the ocean. Kitchen had utensils to cook breakfast and dinner. This combined with the roof top area with bbq, a table, and loungers was a bonus with a better view of ocean.

John is lovely helpful easy going and down to earth very pleasant to deal with, the room was comfortable very clean and tidy,
And it was easy to park a B-train

This accommodation exceeded our expectations! Originally, we were booked at an upmarket apartment that was 4x the price, decided to go for this place instead due to central location and value for money. We compared this place to our original booking and were not disappointed with our decision. The owner/manager of this property cannot do enough to ensure a great stay, working hard all day to maintain high standard, and advise on best options for tours etc. Great facilities like complimentary laundry, and 5min walk to central area & ferry wharf. Many Thanks for a great holiday! Thanks for the perfect weather too !!

it was clean, tidy, well maintained and the location was fabulous…right across the road from the beach and just a 3 minute walk to the ferry!

Its situated in the central area and beach is just few meters away and it was very cosy, even we just stayed for a day, so I would like to go there and stay longer next time. The host is very nice, kind and helpful. He didn't charge me the extra that I need to pay. Highly recommended
