A great welcome fom the owner, who was very helpful. Location was great to get around the town centre. Breakfast was good.

The room is ready for some upgrading and the bathroom was small, but still great value for money.

Owners are so lovely, the shower was hot, bed was so comfortable, breakfast was yummy and the location is perfect.

Owners are so welcoming and friendly. Felt a good vibe as soon as we walked in. They still have 2 rooms to renovate of which we stayed in one, so a little outdated, but still very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast selects are really good, so it was a full English for the husband and pancakes and fruit for me, both superb. Location is smack bang in the middle of Ambleside and with free parking.

Amazing, central Ambleside location. Really lovely, friendly & kind hosts/owners. Amazing breakfast. Free parking all week and a permit that also worked elsewhere so we were able to use this in Windermere too...this saves a lot of money. Tea/coffee/milk/biscuits all replenished each day in room along with fresh towels.

Rooms are very small so suitcase had to go back in the car!! Although it was clean, it could have been a little cleaner to move an 8 out of 10 to a 10.

The breakfast was really good and used locally sourced products. The room was compact but suited our one night stay

We had to park in a local Car Park a few minutes away from the property (but we did get a Car Park pass included)

Very small bathroom, no on site parking. Parking available within walking distance but carparks were usually full

hosts were superb breakfast choice was excellent location was perfect facilities were very clean and washing products were provided

the room we had (1) was way too small and uncomfortable and very warm even with window open. Bathroom was cramped , there was an area at the end of the bed into which 2 doors opened that was the only storage and dressing space.
