Easily able to host family and/or friends in this cozy, super comfortable winterized cottage.
Lots of amenities and room for sitting around the wood stove or the long dining room table. Super supplied kitchen for cooking elaborate meals or simple lunches.

We had such an amazing time at this place. Definitely a little piece of paradise nestled in the woods right on the Falls Lake. Far exceeded our expectations and the owner David is awesome. So responsive and made sure before checking in the we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions. The home is turn-key, so all you really need to bring is yourselves, clothing and any food items you want. Other than that it is fully stocked. We are definitely looking forward to coming back in the summertime to take advantage of the beautiful lake that the home sits directly on. This is a must do if you’re looking for the perfect getaway to relax by yourself or with the family.

Bachelorette Weekend
David was an amazing host! He called me the morning we were set to check in and walked me through the whole cottage. He was also easy to contact throughout our stay (we have an issue with the alarm system), and gave great recommendations for local outings. We went to Bent Ridge due to his recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed the food (and his 15% discount)! Even though the weather was rather gloomy we made the most of it and had a great time swimming, canoeing and drinking our morning coffees on the dock. Highly recommend.

Ladies Retreat
Lovely spot. Everything we needed…except sun ☀️. Got an afternoon on the dock & a swim in the warm waters of Falls Lake. Canasta,Scrabble & reading and chatting w good friends made a fine retreat. Recommend to others….A

Fantastic Getaway
We spent 2 weeks at the cottage. Week 1 my wife and I were still in "work from home" mode - wifi was excellent and allowed both of us to work online (email, etc.) with no issues, week 2 was a full vacation; kayaks and canoe were used quite often and the docks are great to swim off of as well. The cottage was very well equipped and quite comfortable. Our two week stay went by in a blur and we will be looking to book there again in the future.

Great spot for an adults getaway or a weekend away with family. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you will need.

Puppy pickup and mini-holiday
We came to Nova Scotia from Ontario to pick up a puppy I had reserved. I looked for a place, near the breeder, to spend a few days, to let the puppy get used to us before the long drive home. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The home is beautiful, and David was a very helpful, accommodating host. He even picked up wood and wine for us, before our arrival, since we couldn't shop because of Covid. David's home could not possibly be a disappointment.

Mother - Daughter get away!
The lake house property was a great get away! We had everything that we needed and more! I had great communication with the property owner and he wanted us to be comfortable and he even checked in with me during our visit to see if we needed anything!

Amazing weekend!
Our family felt at home in this beautiful lake house! We would all walk out to the end of the dock each morning to watch the sun rise and the mist roll over the lake with our morning coffees in hand, and we would end our fun filled days next to the fire pit with s’mores in hand to watch the sunset
Truly an amazing spot.... If only the pictures could do it justice!
We hope to make this a family tradition!

The Perfect Winter Getaway
Truly, our week at Falls Lake couldn’t have been any better. What a gorgeous house, complete with everything you need, for a relaxing Winter retreat.

Highly recommend
We enjoyed great family time at this beautiful cottage! The kids spent most of their time down by the lake swimming or paddling in various boats. We enjoyed family meals on the large deck and camp fires in the fire pit at night. The open concept main floor makes it a perfect spot when entertaining larger families. We'll definitely be back.

Great spot with something that could appeal to and entertain all in a family. Very well maintained and exceptionally well-appointed, with access to a beautiful lake. The owner was also very attentive, without being intrusive.

What a Cozy Hideaway
We were a group of ladies getting together for our annual Christmas Dinner. We stayed for the weekend and couldn't want for anything. We loved the decor, the scenery and it wasn't too long of a drive for us from Halifax. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. Perfect for families or small groups. Great spot for winter or summer! The owner was very accommodating. We loved it!

Fall Escape to Falls Lake
David, we really enjoyed staying at the lake during last weekend. Your property had everything that we needed to catch our breath before the winter. The fall colors this time of year are simple breathtaking. We really enjoyed spending some time sitting out on the on the dock star gazing as it has been some time since I have enjoyed such a splendid visual display.

Awesome Weekend
This is our third time staying at your cottage and once again it did not disappoint. The open concept layout was perfect for our indoor time when it got a bit chilly outside and the woodstove made for a cozy indoor evening. Love the new bathrooms and it was nice to be able to sit out under the awning. Looking forward to trying the paddle board when we come back next summer. We took a day trip to Chester/Mahone Bay area, it's nice and close. As always we found the cottage clean and the host very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Another Great Get Away Weekend
This is our third time back at this lake home and once again we had a fabulous time. Since our last visit the owner has renovated both bathrooms and installed flat screen TV's & DVD players in all the bedrooms which during the one rainy day we had kept the kids entertained upstairs while we watched Netflix downstairs. We were also still able to enjoy the outdoors during the rain under a new deck awning. We spent a lot of time canoeing and kayaking on the lake and tried the paddle board for the first time. Clean cottage with great family spaces both inside and out. Highly recommend.

great location for quiet get-away
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted a quiet place on a lake to use as a base, a place to explore in every direction (Bay of Fundy, Lunenberg, etc.) and a place to hang. The lake was quiet and the location terrific. The house was a little more dated (older), darker (not enough lighting) and cluttered than I expected, but that's more a reflection of my expectations. It is a family cottage that is well equipped for vacation-users. David was an attentive host via email, text, calls.
We had a great time and would recommend it for folks with friends and families.

Cottage has everything including an array of kayaks, canoes, sailing dingey, paddleboard etc. Very good access to the lake. Beautiful lake. Owner very responsive.

This is my 5th time at this particular property and my second review. Please see my first review for more detail but rest assured, it just keeps getting better. There is nothing that has not been thought of at this property and everything is of high end quality. It is exceptionally clean, well organized, and the owner is attentive to every detail and readily available if any issues arise. I would not hesitate to book with David and I look forward to dealing with him again next year. Thanks again for a memorable vacation.

The cottage was very peaceful and private with all the modern conveniences yet with that quaint cottage feeling on a lake. David was very accommodating and friendly. He responded to our needs immediately. We will be back.

The cottage was lovely and super clean. I fell in love with the kitchen. Views of the lake and fall foliage from every window. We had some great walks in the woods, it was so relaxing. I loved seeing the lights from the dock at night. We'll definitely be back.

We rented this cottage with another family for 3 nights. It is a beautiful cottage on a beautiful lake. Each family have 2 children, there was lots of room for our littles and all the stuff that they require. This cottage has all the comforts of home and then some. There was a lot of things to do in and around the community. David was so accommodating, he even called us part way through our stay to see how we were doing, if we needed anything and to remind us that there were board games there if we wanted. Both families have agreed that this is a cottage that we would like to come back to.

This was a perfect place to stay with family! Everything we needed was provided in the home - tons of water fun gear, full kitchen with all the little things you need but don't think about! The lake was warm and beautiful. David, the owner was VERY helpful, responsive, and kind. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

the cottage was perfect spotless clean if you forgot anything it was there the family got a chance to use the boat life jackets were there the dock and the outdoor setting were perfect for us which is where we spent most of our time on our short weekend at 6:00 am when i had my tea on your deck and listened to the silence and the water hitting the dock i could have stayed there forever there was nothing missing at your cottage just pull your 770 sign at the top of your driveway up as we all passed it numerous times and had to turn around i will definitely highly recommend your cottage to everyone hope to return again thx again my family from ont and cape breton also wanted me to thx you as they were very impressed belinda

I've rented a number of cottages on Falls Lake over the last decade and this cottage (more like a home!) has by far the nicest dock, swim raft and waterside firepit. We spent all our days on or in the water and our evenings around the fire. The inside was beautiful and comfortably furnished. David was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with! We plan on returning this winter!

Myself, along with my brother and a few friends spent a unforgettable weekend at this cottage. The place had all the essentials we needed and more. When spent two days kayaking, fishing and exploring the lake and surrounding area. When the rain kept us indoors, we remained content with a crib or poker game or movie on Netflix. The owner David has really thought of everything from the free WiFi and Netflix to the outdoor lighting and overall layout of the cottage. The property and cottage was spotless upon arrival and we felt at home throughout our stay.I can't wait to bring my wife and children to this special place.....and probably another boys night too.
