Hotel rooms in central Tokyo with a reasonable price and a decent room space where two adults can have their suitcases open and still walk in the room are not easy to find. - Well, the Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Roppongi is one of those! We took the "Friendly Limousine Bus" from Narita Airport to the "ANA Intercontinental Hotel" (a little bit less than 2 hours). From there it's only a 10-minute walk to the hotel, so it's really convenient. We had a room on the ground floor with milky windows, which didn't bother us at all. The furnishings are modern, even look fairly new, mattresses, bed linen, comforters and pillows guarantee a good night's sleep. The restroom is 'Japanese' standard with a 'Rolls Royce' toilet and a shower worthy of its name. For guests staying longer: Beds are only made on request, i.e. you have to let the reception know. Bath towels are changed daily, cleaning is also only done on request, but the garbage cans are emptied AND there were always 2 bottles of mineral water per day for free AND you can make your own surprisingly good coffee with coffee bags offered on a counter at reception. The location is great with a subway station just underneath the hotel and "Roppongi Crossing" only a good 15 minute walk away. I would book this hotel again mainly because of the ratio of room-size/price/location and the easy access to Narita airport as mentioned above.

There was no view from the window and very little space to put our clothes and suitcases. The location is practical because it's central, but not very charming to walk around the hotel as it's mainly a business district with trafic and construction work.

We liked the location, the staff were superb, the items in the lobby that you took to your room, were generous. It was awesome to have a tea kettle and refrigerator. The bathroom was well lit and had nice counter space. Although the room was a little on the smaller side, the bed was comfortable and bathroom well appointed. But, the staff was SO kind. We elected to sent our luggage ahead to our next destination and they were extremely helpful.

Reception staff were invariably friendly. The room size was good and had everything I needed. The nearby restaurants were very conveniently located.

Nothing. I cannot think of anything which caused me concern or gave me reason to doubt my decision to stay there.

The hotel & room were clean with good location near roppongi station.

The rooms are too small. The hotel staff do not speak good english. The TV was very one sided with no english channles for visitors. The breakfast time was too short in the mroning cutting off at 9.30am. We got there one day at 9.40 am and they refused us breakfast. The location near the roppongi station should be highlighted on the booking.com and other websites. The room should have more hangars.

I love that the station is just below the hotel. There are so many restaurants around the area.

I wish there were more convenient stores around.

Location close to metro, cafes and a convenience store

Small room and for the included breakfast we were given vouchers to go down to an Asian salad cafe in the next building. Much nicer and less expensive breakfasts available at other nearby cafes.

As a Westerner, I very much appreciate the WONDERFUL water pressure in the shower and I loved the modern, Japanese-style toilet. The bed was comfortable and the room was very dark and quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything seemed super clean, and there was complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner, along with sleeping shirts and slippers. I thought it was strange that there was an electric kettle and cups provided, but no tea or coffee.

While I did pay for the breakfast ticket I'm not convinced it was worth it. The choices were a bit strange, none of it was particularly delicious, and you had to travel to the sub-level of a separate building and visit a separate business to get the breakfast.

Location was perfect for us. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The washing room on the GF is so convenient.
