Good location and staff were very nice.

I stayed in an attic twin room and it was just too cramped for two people. The bathroom was too small and you couldn’t stand inside and use the sink without banging your head on the mirror .

Chinese man on reception told me no rooms I booked on booking and went back he told me they just got a cancellation he’s a liar

This hotel provides no heating at all when asked about this at reception we were told they don't say they offer heating on the website or booking.com this should be highlighted massively!! to stay in Amsterdam in freezing minus degrees weather was so bad we had to book another hotel as it was not bearable at all. staff did not care as there was heating in the lobby were they are located. we were offered no refund and were told they price of the hotel was "cheap" . over all I would not stay here ever again the streets of Amsterdam in the middle of January were warmer than the hotel rooms I can't highlight that enough you would have been warmer swimming with the iceberg beside the titanic.

Excellent location close to many attractions. Room very small barely enough to move around but then we just used it as a base. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly Breakfast was only so so as it was at a café next door and not a lot of choice of menu. Breakfast was included in our cost so had we opted not to have breakfast the cafe offered a bigger choice of menu. Lots of restaurants down the street plenty to choose from but sadly no Dutch cuisine

The reception staff were lovely. All of them that I encountered were so helpful, chatty and knowledgeable. The location is excellent, minutes from the station and right in the centre of town (although you'd never know that once youre inside, because theres no street noise). Beds were really comfortable, room made up daily and theres a little "shop" area downstairs with snacks and drinks.

The room itself was pretty average at best, but I gather this is the norm for Amsterdam. Theres no view at all as the rooms centre around air vents in an enclosed courtyard type space. The rooms are very compact and a bit rough around the edges. The stairs down to reception were closed off, leaving only the elevator. This obviously needs addressed immediately, as this is a huge fire hazard. Its surface clean, but not deep clean. Couldnt use the lamp, kettle or anything else that needed plugged in as the only socket was in the middle of the bed!

Location absolutely perfect, less than 5 min walk from redlight district and dam square. Also very close to train station.

Second time in Amsterdam and second time staying here, amazing location, very clean, really friendly staff. If you’re coming to an Amsterdam this is the hotel to stay.

Good location

Too many stairs

It was clean and good location Staff were good, location is great.

The hallways from the lift are TINY and the floor is uneven as well as stairs to get to some rooms which is not great when you have luggage on wheels… I ended up falling down the stairs and seriously injuring my ankle because I was hauling luggage down the stairs and it was horrible! The staff were extremely attentive when they were alerted as I couldn’t stand on it and they ordered us a taxi to go to the train station (which is literally only a 5 minute walk) as I couldn’t walk on it so that was really nice of them. I was with someone who had mobility issues and I wouldn’t stay here again with someone who struggles and needs a walking stick.

Room was very small, hardly any room for any luggage storage but other than that it was a bed for the night.

Clean, good facilities and in a perfect location for two young travellers.

The rooms are small however given the price they are good value for money.

Location of hotel is excellent close to everything trains, shops, restaurants, bars. You can pop back at any time if the weather changes or you just need to recharge the batteries.

Hotel had a great location right in the middle of all the action, and believe me, it's non stop action! Easy walk to Centraal Station. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and sincerely friendly people who could not wait to say good morning and offer to make you a coffee. I was treated as a guest not a tourist! The bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning, everything was to modern standards including consistent shower flow and temp.

The room was pretty tight with a steep spiral staircase leading to a claustrophobia inducing loft space for sleeping. It should be noted that this did not bother my family and my 18 and 20 year old sons thought the loft was cool. After the first night the front desk clerk was very concerned that I was not satisfied and was borderline insistent that I take another room but my family did not want to move after they had settled in. This should be read as a positive as the front desk clerk was so amazingly intuitive and attentive. It helps to be aware that the property is in the old town and by default is a very old (but renovated) building. A lot of the rooms are only accessible via stairs. Although the halls and stairs are narrow, maybe find comfort in knowing that lugging your bags to the room is only a temporary challenge? After that, it's time to get your Amsterdam on!

Location was wonderful

The location was great - make sure you take canal view. The other rooms are not just tiny (all are) but dark. Canal view was wonderful and had good light. Very comfy bed.

The room was beyond small and the bathroom was tiny. When I arrived, there were two homeless drunk men in the door. Check in is behind plexiglass which does not give you a feeling of being in a safe area.
