Am a 50year solo woman traveler and have been travelling since the past few years. First Gate Home Fusion was my stay in Jaisalmer and WHAT A BEAUTIFUL STAY IT WAS❤️ From the moment I stepped in till I checked out( actually after I checked out too I called and asked for a taxi back to Jodhpur from Suryagarh) they made it the most memorable stay till date I should say ( YES) It felt absolutely like home😃 People are extremely friendly and put me at ease! House keeping was amazing ( they clean the room twice and replace every towel twice!!) I was so relaxed and felt totally at home ( Sambha the dog is too sweet ) Would just run down for the tea or al the snacks( by the way all of it is complimentary including the water bottles) Here I have got to mention the person who really made it all so special Lakshya , from sending me a drink to the pool and seeing that I eat what I wished for to even booking a hair salon nearby for a hair wash and setting ( he personally took me on his scooter and brought me back to the hotel)He was an amazing guy! Thanks to each and every person who made me feel so special including the driver of my car who took me to the border and back . Loved every bit of it!! Thank you so very much!! You guys really made me feel very special❤️❤️

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The food is incredible, the staff are wonderful (as a female they packed me a breakfast and not only drove me to my 3am train but also loaded all my cases onto the train and made sure I was settled). I highly recommend and a big shout out to the amazing manager Pankaj, thank you so, so much! Will be back! Great boutique hotel with service no less than a 5-star. Fantastic hospitality, very thoughtful and attentive staff, large unit with a bedroom, living room and terrace, very good rooftop Italian restaurant with great view of fort, very good location right next to the fort, comes with a fairly good gym and jacuzzi. Got a complimentary dinner on the last night of stay. Friendly pet dog on site. Highly recommended.

Some of the lesser used upholstery and furniture in the unit were not very well maintained.

Excellent staff, Good location, Big and clean room, restaurant with the view.

Traffic noise and dogs barking early in the morning,but hotel do provide ear plugs.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. It carries a theme that goes with the desert marvel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks to Manoj for making us feel at home. He went beyond to help us out when our next booking was cancelled by the host. This place is a must visit if you're planning to visit Jaisalmer. A perfect example of how people you meet make your experience all the more special.

Located just outside the fort wall, this is a boutique hotel of its truest sense. Rooms were perfectly done and equipped. The breakfast place was quaint and authentic. The rooftop restaurant gives unparalleled view of the Sonar qila and most importantly staff hospitality was top notch

Everything from the ambience to the staff to the food to the hospitality is indescribable. We booked the place based on excellent customer reviews and they exceeded our expectations totally. Kudos to Manoj, Raghu and the entire staff of 1st Gate Home Fusion. They go out of their way to make us feel homely and comfortable. Anyone planning a Jaisalmer trip, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY. No second thoughts. Another major perk is the unlimited tea / coffee / dry snacks and fruits 24/7 😁

Top Notch service! The anniversary setup! We stayed there for our anniversary and they did such a special setup for us and made us feel so special Early packed breakfast - they knew we were flying out early in the morning and especially packed us a scrumptious breakfast which was such a saviour

Their restaurant - Great views, probably the best in Jaisalmer but it isn't in anyway authentic Italian, it's more Indian Italian Length of my stay - Wish I could stay longer with them and experience some great hospitality

the staff amazing. nothing was too much for them. from raghu who i guess manages the team, to the restaurant staff everyone was super helpful. they even gave me some goodies for my flight back home. the location.. just opposite to the fort. i had an excellent view from my balcony and the restaurant. just that itself maybe worth staying here. the complimentary bar and snacks always present in the room was the extra touch worth everything.

i guess it being a vegetarian only restaurant. would love if they had non-vegetarian options in their menu they do have sewage issue, which smells in the washroom. i had a two night stay, only faced this issue on the day i had to checkout. it an occasional issue i guess, but when it happens its quite unpleasant.

I have been to so many places all over india, but the hospitality delivered at this place is ‘THE BEST’. The stafff is soo humble and they make you feel comfortable to another level.

Hotel design!!-like Mediterranean villa ! Nice court yards; spa; small swimming pool- very clean Homey; The manager Raugu and his staff were excellent! Tactful and helpful; Best coffee was always available as the plentiful water . All complement fully.

Everything is super clean and the rooftop is amazing with a beautiful and romantic view on the fort. The staff is particularly kind especially Raghu helped us a lot with different kinds of things.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. The fort, the havelis and the shopping areas are just a few minutes away. The staff is very polite and obliging. The rooms are attractive and comfortable. The hotel has a small lounge where tea, coffee and biscuits are served 24/7 free of charge.

The rooftop restaurant has a fantastic view of the lit up fort at night, but the food is pricey and not all that great.
