Desert Boy’s Guest House is a beautifully decorated guesthouse, perfectly located on the fort wall. From the rooms and the restaurant you have a nice view of the castle. As guests you have the option to eat and relax on the roof top instead of the restaurant which gives you an even more astonishing view of the entire city. Anil, the guesthouse owner is a super friendly and helpful man, who cares for all your needs no matter what, you only need to ask.

The owner Anil ji was one of the nicest people we met during our travels in Rajasthan. Such a chill, nice and humble gentleman- he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and told us many stories about the people and geography of Jaisalmer. They organized free pick up and drop for us to and from the station, which was a lovely surprise. The room itself is wonderfully located inside the Jaisalmer fort with a gorgeous view of the fort and the city beyond. You could spend hours sitting by the window seat and watching life inside the fort pass by. The bedroom was well appointed and comfortable and there was even a hairdryer in the bathroom. We did the offbeat one night desert stay with Desert Boys and it was an out of this world experience. HIGHLY recommend to adventure seekers who want more intimate and tailored experiences. Overall highly recommend this guesthouse! The cafe also has an unparalleled view from the top of the fort!

The bathroom could perhaps be better- there is no exhaust so it can get stuffy, the shower sprays water in many directions, and the toilet could be cleaner.

The Desert Boy's Hotel is a gem in a gem. Located inside the fort of Jaisalmer, the hotel is in a very old and authentic Haveli. From the restaurant, when delicious Indian and Western cuisine is served, the view on the fort is stunning! The rooms are amazingly beautiful and confortable, very nice local décoration, , bedsheets and bathroom are super clean. Arvind and Papoo, the 2 owners, are most welcoming and generous and very interesting. We are blessed for having spent 4 nights in this beautiful paradise. We will come back and warmly recommend the place.

There is nothing we disliked

Amazing location and views both from the room and the restaurant. Host was very courteous, greeted us two kilometers away and escorted us to the parking inside the fort. He gave us a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise.

Toilet seat wasn't clean. Wifi could have been better.
