Des lits trop durs

We met Helen, the receptionist. She is very helpful and friendly. She recommended us a few nice places to eat and visit. She help us book the transportation from Hoi An to Hue City. We got a lot of information about Hoi An and her hometown. She work as a tour guide before covid.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Clean rooms and great location. The pool area is nice and a great place to spend a couple hours escaping the heat. Helen was very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely stay again.

as mentioned in other reviews the shower water pressure isn’t amazing, but that’s common throughout the country and didn’t bother us all that much.

Helen on reception was very friendly and helpful, arranging laundry and providing lots of information about tours.

On three consecutive days we saw a large (15cm) rat running between the reception area and the breakfast room, it would come out from the wooden unit at the back left of the reception area as you look at it and cross under the wooden unit on the right. I've attached screen-grabs of the unit from a video where I was trying to capture it on film. The room was very outdated compared with the images, it's older, dirtier and in a much worse state of repair, inc damp and mould on the walls. The air-conditioning unit on the outside wall of the room over the small balcony space is very loud. The breakfast isn't even close to the images, when comparing the images at breakfast on the second day - the staff saw, came over and told us the images were from 5 years ago. Expect 1 worktop of options: with some fruit, white sliced bread, a toaster and some sliced cheese and ham. You can also order an omelette. Generally, the hotel feels as though it was quite luxurious when it was built, and has not been maintained since, falling into a state of disrepair in places.

The service

This hotel is not what it used to be. No breakfast, no free bikes, no happy hour, no food at all. Hardly any staff, The lobby looks very unwelcoming! Or maybe I should say what used to be the breakfast area on the way to the stairs. There are no elevators!

Location was convenient, Helen from the front desk was friendly and helpful. Helped us with our other tour needs.

No elevators to access the upper floors.
