We had a wonderful stay! It's a charming house very close to the beach. The host was super accommodating and even left us little treats throughout the stay. For those with small kids, the pirate playground was only a block away and was a huge hit. We'd love to come back soon.

First time in Myrtle Beach. Six adults had plenty of room to send time together and also spend time alone. Short walk to beach but also close to local attractions. Enjoyed a cruise on the inter coastal waterway. Host was very accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a better location. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We had some issues navigating around some of the mature plants outside, particularly the cactus in the front, but we communicated that to the host and I imagine it’ll be addressed for future guests.

Our vacation was perfect. Cottage was wonderful. Perfect location! Beach so beautiful. Loved bringing our fur baby on vacation. Owners were very responsive and great! Loved the homemade treats. Beds were very comfortable. Relaxing and fun times during our entire stay. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The cottage was exactly as listed very private and quiet but only a quick 2 minute walk to the beach on nice level sidewalks. MB provided everything you need for the house and the beach. We could have literally just brought our clothes. The cottage was very clean amd welcoming when we walked in. A welcome basket was waiting for us on the kitchen table when we got there and Frank dropped off a freshly baked bread mid week. We had 7 adults and an infant with us and had plenty of room. There's a nice backyard area that is tree covered and was great for our evening we stayed in and grilled. The area is very close to all sorts of activities and restaurants. The beach was very clean and not over crowded at all. If we get back to Myrtle Beach again we would definitely stay at the cottage again!

We had a great time in this charming cottage just a few steps from the beach! Very clean, convenient and cozy. Everything you is provided, everything worked as it should. The welcoming basket and the homemade strawberry cheesecake bread were a nuce and much appreciated surprise 🏝❤️

Property and host were absolutely amazing. The house was so cute and had everything we needed for our families and was perfect location for the beach being we had our 1 year old and could easily walk right back to the house if need be. We also took our fur baby and he had the best time. There was a cute little park right by the house for him to take walks at. We will for sure be returning in the future. Had an absolute blast! Cast all of your cares away at Beach Blue Sea Cottage! This beautiful vintage beach cottage is the remedy to your need for a vacation. Spacious, impeccably clean, welcoming, peaceful and fun! Amazing communication with the hostess (MB). She was lovely and had lightning fast responses to any questions. Very accommodating for your pets as well! Trust me when I say, that the Beach Blue Sea Cottage will never leave you feeling blue!

It feels very private at the Beach Blue Sea Cottage with the green foliage surrounding you. As soon as you enter you feel very welcomed and inclined to relax. The blue comfy couches are a perfect update, and there’s is so much space for everyone who has come along for the visit. Having access to a couple streaming services was a really nice touch for the downtime after getting sun at the beach. We built a lot of sandcastles and enjoyed looking for seashells with easy and only just around-the-block beach access. There were good public sand rinse-off showers and a really nice, new pirate ship playground just above the dunes. MB was just a phone call away and went above and beyond with hospitality and eager to be contacted if anything was found amiss (which it wasn’t). We were even checked in on halfway through the stay. We didn’t want for much as we had all the implements provided to cook up some meals at the cottage after a quick grocery run. You could tell that there were a lot of considerate thoughts behind the design and what was provided within the rental. The rules for the property were straightforward and easy to navigate. One thing we were surprised by, but glad was mentioned in the welcome binder: In Myrtle Beach it is unlawful to have a sunshade at the beach (except of course, regular small beach umbrellas are still allowed). Good to know before you back up your tent shade or wind powered beach shade. You can park right at the property, which is a wonderful bonus. Though bigger vehicles might make it trickier. We drive one of the largest vehicles around (A Nissan NV) and were able to park after backing in on the street. Had we had visitors, it might have been pretty difficult to navigate as our vehicle cut off access to the two other spots available (behind a sharp right turn - which should easy to navigate in a smaller vehicles.) There were many options for sleeping arrangements, and we appreciated that there was a full bathroom both upstairs (the entry level,) and downstairs. Both have showers, but no bathtubs. It is a pet-friendly property, we didn’t bring our dog this time, but maybe next time! We felt that we were far away from all of the touristy things so that we didn’t have to “constantly enjoy” seeing some “interesting body shapes” in “fascinating” choices of “swimwear”, while still being close enough to access some of the fun tourist traps.

Great location, and a lot of space for family fun in privacy!

Spent two months there this winter. Loved the location, close to shopping, many golf courses, and the two minute walk to the beach (that we went to daily.) Also, enjoyed the privacy of having the entire house to ourselves. The host were very accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to go back! The Michiganders

I rented the cottage for a month for my parents to come to the beach & visit and it was absolutely perfect! The location is great with just a short walk to the beach, and the cottage itself was immaculate. Couldn't ask for a better host either!

This property leaves you with the impression you were both at the beach and in the woods at the same time! The house itself reminds me of the older homes my dad used to rent when I was a young child--the type that make you feel like you are at the beach. It's amazing what the owners have done with the space. We had four adults in the cottage and you did not feel overcrowded. For the adult children, you have the finished lower level that gives them privacy--including their own TV. My husband and I love to sit outside after a long day at the beach. You have both a front deck with nice morning sun and space in the back of the cottage that makes you feel like you are in the woods with lots of trees and shade. I hung out there after a hot day at the beach. The owners are genuine and kind people who make you feel like family right away. You don't meet many people like that these days. My only challenge was the parking. It was a bit tricky to park our two SUVs (Honda CRV and Ford Escape) in the parking area. Since both vehicles needed to be able to come and go freely, it was tricky. We kept one in the front in the mulch, and the other was backed in at a slight angle. This was the best way for us anyway. The beach was a short, easy walk. The location is perfect. We were close enough to Barefoot Landing for shopping and restaurants on the water. The boardwalk area and Broadway are also a very short drive. I felt safe walking to the nearby restaurants. Ciao was sensational! Also important to note that the property is pet friendly. Both my puppies loved the home. There were many places for them to walk. The sidewalk where the exercise course is was their favorite place to walk. Thank you for being so kind to us and our pups. I would love to return some day. The hurricane put a bit of a damper on the last part of the week but that is the chance you take when renting in September/October. What an experience that was!!! Wow. That was a first for us. MB was a text away and helped put my mind at ease. I met Frank who put some things away to prepare for the oncoming storm. Frank is terrific and just a super nice guy! Thanks again to you both!

The owner went above and beyond to keep in communication with me. I don’t often check my VRBO messages, I had not signed the rental agreement and she reached out via text so I did not lose the booking. She was very gracious with our check in time , but it turned out we arrived later than expected. Amazing host that keeps in touch to make sure you have everything you need and that there are no issues. The house is vintage and reminded me of my childhood. . My only recommendation is to upgrade the futon, especially the little room in the basement, maybe a daybed. I wish we would have eaten at the house, we ended up eating out the whole time and it was quite costly. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. Great time and very close to the beach! I would recommend, it’s a great place perfect for families ♥️

We took our married daughter and our two teenage sons. Everyone had their own beds. It fit us perfectly. The beds are comfortable. It is super close to the beach, and MB is so easy to work with and super responsive.

It is a very beautiful cottage very close to the beach, which for me that’s a plus being that i have an 8 month old baby. My family and i enjoyed every minute of our vacation, the owners have a binder full of different places that you are able to visit. We got to see some new places of Myrtle Beach we hadn’t seen before. Definitely fell in love with the place and will be booking again when we got next year.

We loved our first trip to the cottage in 2021 and knew exactly where we wanted to come back this summer. The second time was just as lovely as before! It's such a great location, being just one block off the beach. So cozy, plenty of room for six adults and our fur baby. MB and Frank were so kind and generous to us and even mailed us a quilt we had left behind. The welcome treats were delicious! Don't pass this cottage up if you are looking for a place to stay. You will love it here!

This cottage was extremely spacious and accomodating to our four adults, preschooler, infant and dog. I personally can't stand the lack of privacy afforded by condos or motels I usually have to stomach just for the location and/or price, so I was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk to the beach each morning with ease for a comparable price. We were provided a wagon to tow our kids and toys, parking for two cars. And there is no shortage of space around this house for alone time if needed. A tranquil atmosphere and a pretty good reading selection too - though we got a little chuckle out of Mario Lopez's biography. A great home base that set the scene for quite the trip - our first of this nature, first of many. Great communication by the host. Pound for pound, bang for buck, I couldn't ask for more.
