Perfect apartment for our vacation. Beautiful, clean and the hosts were very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location, between the Sao Bento train station and the river area. All the top sights were easy to walk to. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and had large windows making the apartment very bright and giving us great views of the area including the river in the short distance away. Communication from check in to check out was excellent. Joana even helped arrange transportation for us to the airport and suggested a secure luggage storage company right around the corner from the apartment. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment. Great location. All of the interior finishes are clean, modern and contemporary, which we loved. We very much enjoyed evening cocktails on the petite balcony - great for people watching. Many folks on the streets below, and on the open-topped buses, waved, and gave us a thumbs-up.

An incredible condo in the heart of the historic district of Porto, Portugal. We loved everything about this unique rental. It was a perfect location to explore this area of Porto. The amenities, ease of access, communication with owner, and views far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this lovely condo.

The flat hit all the marks. It had fabulous amenities. It was in the Premier location, the host and driver and check in accommodations were perfect. It was very clean and extremely comfortable, including the beds and the living room and the view was so nice. I highly, highly, highly recommend renting this flat. Thanks to all of those who made it a perfect vacation spot.

My husband, myself and two young adult sons loved our stay! This apartment is beautiful, well kept and equipped. An excellent location for exploring the city, dining, hanging out.

Getting into a rental car in a new country takes some getting used to. Street signs in Porto are hard to find and often don't exist. Following on line directions is almost impossible. We went around in circles for 45 minutes looking for the apt. Our host was inconvenienced and wondered what our problem was. We were never warned about the high cost of parking in the nearby parking lot we were directed to by our host. It was $102 for less than 48 hours. All shocking. The apt was great and centrally located. I'd never again have a car in Porto.

From the booking process to leaving everything was amazing. The apartment is as beautiful and the photos show. Everything in the apartment was first class. The beds were very comfortable; the bathrooms big and modern, the kitchen and living room were spacious and inviting. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the small safe was a wonderful bonus. The location could not have been better—close to so many restaurants, shops, the river and Gaia. The host Joana was incredible. She was always responsive and helpful. She provided a lot of information regarding restaurants and sights. Be aware there is heavy construction next to the apartment, but we got used to it after a bit and it did not bother us. Very safe and secure. If we return to Porto we would definitely stay here again

This apartment had a great view of the city. You can see down several streets and even to the river. Had no problem meeting Valentim for the check in. The apartment was clean and the beds very comfortable. It has a small safe for money and passports; iPads and larger items will not fit. It has a combo washer/dryer. One item of note. There is construction going on right outside the apartment for the city’s subway extension. Work was going on pretty much 24 hours a day. While there is some construction noise, it wasn’t particularly bothersome. Ear plugs were provided in the apartment. Not sure when the work is scheduled to be concluded. Would definitely stay here again!

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The photos are very accurate and the location to everything can’t be beat. The beds were great, and having the 2 roomy bedrooms and bathrooms were a huge plus for us. It also had an amazing view and is on top of the best place for a pastry - a win, win. We did hear the construction going on around the apartment at night - but were aware of this before our stay, and know it was certainly not the fault of the apartment owners/company. I would recommend this apartment for a great stay in Porto!

This apartment is clean, modern, well furnished and equipped, in a great location handy for the Douro Ribeira area and just a short walk from Sao Bento rail station. The downside only became apparent on our last night - we stayed from Friday until Tuesday. The apartment is located next to works associated with the construction of an extension to the Porto metro. No work took place over the weekend, but on Monday night we were continually woken by very loud noise from the site just outside our bedroom window. This will be a problem for some time to come...

This was the perfect location to explore Porto. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Excellent location in the heart of Porto yet quiet for sleeping once interior shutters are closed. Historic building that has been refurbished very comfortably. Wonderful sense of light and views of the city and even the Douro River. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each feels private and peaceful.

This apartment is gorgeous and in a great location. It is in the heart of the old city and easy walking distance to just about everything. There is a major road construction project going on just below the apartment but the noise didn't bother us as we were out exploring all day. There is a bit of city noise that comes with being in the thick of everything but with the windows and shutters closed we found it very quiet and slept well. We very much enjoyed the apartment and the City of Porto. Communication was excellent with Joanna throughout and Valentim was waiting at the apartment to show us around.

We had a two week tour of Spain and Portugal (I know, too short). By far the nicest apartment and location. Nothing to complain about. Joanna was great. We parked car for $20 euros for 3 days! Where does that happen? Great views at top of the hill in Centro, easy walk and view of river. Built-in appliances everywhere contributed to sleek look. Even washer/dryer was built in to the 2nd shower! All windows (6 I think) opened to a balcony and had beautiful shutters. Very well stocked with towels, and cleaning supplies, coffee, etc. You will not be disappointed booking this great rental!

Communication with the host was excellent. Contact upon arrival and check in was very smooth. Property was beautifully kept with all the amenities from home that you might need. Highly recommend the location and the property.

Our host Joana was simply the best -- very responsive and kind. She even made dinner reservations for us at her favorite place when we could not. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to everything. Our check-in with Valentim was quick and easy, and the driver who met us at the airport was so professional. I highly recommend this place. Awesome -- start to finish!

This apartment was amazing! Beautiful layout and the best location in Porto! Views of the river and above the most delicious pastry and coffee shop. Just around the corner from all the best places to visit (churches, restaurants, museums, parks). The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. They provided everything we needed. The kitchen was modern, plus the bedroom and baths were top notch luxury. Perfect comfy beds and very soft sheets. I loved sitting on the balcony in the sunshine to enjoy the city view and opening the French doors to the fresh air! We recommend to friends!

Fantastic and spacious apartment with magnificent views down to the river. The location in the historic center of Porto could not be beat. A wealth of cultural sites, shops, bars, and restaurants within steps of the building. Joana was a great manager. Easy to communicate with and full of ideas to make the stay in Porto extra special. Absolutely would stay here again.

Exactly as pictured and described with every possible amenity. Very modern. We didn’t want to leave!

We spent 3 days exploring both sides of the river. There are endless dining choices and great historical sites. Go to dinner at Mistu!

We loved our 7 night stay in this beautiful apartment. It was just my husband and I so it was a treat to have so much space and two bathrooms. This apartment would also be ideal for two couples because both bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are equally nice. There is a lot of closet space in both bedrooms so you can totally unpack and get settled for a long stay. Actually - this would be a great “work from abroad” apartment for a small family. While searching for a place to stay in Porto I was drawn to a few apartments right along the riverfront. Now that we’ve experienced Porto I am so happy we chose Joana’s apartment (with a very nice river view) instead of staying along the very busy waterfront. Joana provided the best recommendations for restaurants and shopping. She also put us in touch with a fabulous tour company (Nomad Steps) for a private tour of the Douro Valley when our previously scheduled guide cancelled on us at the very last minute. She is a super host! In order to keep this review as complete and accurate as possible to help future travelers, I need to mention that there is a construction project going on at the street level. But nothing blocked the wonderful view nor was there any construction noise while we were there. You should just be aware, however, that this is a long-term project so I imagine there will be varying periods of activity. Regardless, we 100% recommend this gorgeous apartment.

This apartment was spectacular. Everything in the apartment was perfect. The location was great. It was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Valentim and Joana were very helpful with suggestions for dining, etc. I hope we return to see more of this charming city.

This was the most exquisite apartment, beautifully appointed, everything you could dream of and the service was beyond a five-star hotel. The location excellent . Wish Joana and her team had these in more cities! Fantastic.
