The brekfast is OK if you are staying for a few days, but it doesn't change at all.

There was no variety in the breakfast and could not get a Cappucino at the hotel.

I've never left a hotel early before, but there's a first time for everything. This hotel is simply not as advertised. The photos used to advertise it are misrepresentative and I have no idea why it receives so many positive reviews (presumably because the owners are running it themselves and trying their best, but this is irrelevant if they cannot actually provide the service you have paid for). For what it's worth, a brief list of the issues we encountered (and see images): - nobody at reception upon arrival - dirty areas in the room - gym absolutely unusable (consists of 2 broken treadmills, rusty weights, filthy dirty room) - breakfast severely lacking in options (not like the images, but did have ants on the bread) - no furniture on our balcony (was told it was due to bad weather but others had theirs, said it would be put there next day, it wasn't) - safe didn't unlock, alarm went off (on second time of asking was handed an actual master key to fix it ourselves) When we decided to leave early (2 nights into a 5-night stay), we paid in full. It was our decision to leave early. The owner then proceeded to mark us a "No Show" meaning that a) Booking would then charge us for the payment in full, and b) not credit us for having stayed at the property. (3 months later this still has only now been resolved). To add to the facade, the owner didn't provide a receipt when we left and paid in full (another broken machine, apparently). We had to chase this after to prove we had paid in full and in order to avoid being charged twice for the property wrongly marking us as a no show. In all, this is not a place to stay, there are far, far nicer properties in Hoi An (more centrally located). Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Nice location on river and use of free bikes made town easy to access . Staff very helpful.

we had a very comfy room (honeymoon suite), the breakfast was amazing, you can just ask for pho or omelette or anything else - the staff is very kind! the view was amazing & it was calm and very beautiful.

the main elevator had some troubles & the laundry service was only okay. gym was dirty.

Hair conditioner and body lotion very watered down. Bed uncomfortable and creaked. Part of the room looked like it had never been dusted or swept. Only Vietnamese coffee at breakfast - unique flavour and very strong.

super friendly staff at your service 24/7 Lovly, clean Room. lee is always taking care of you. and is always free to have a chat. highly recommend Eco lux if it’s within your budget. you absolutely get what you pay for. and the location is great, they provide you with a bicycle witch I used all the time to get from A to B. it’s just a 8 minute bicycle ride from the ancient city.

Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, great bath/shower with plenty of hot water. Friendly, helpful staff. Free tea and coffee in room. Amazing pool. Would be a great place to stay after a long trek in the mountains to take advantage of the comfort and luxury. Or if you're spending more than 4 days in Hoi An and can split your time between a hotel in the old town and this more luxurious one.

It feels a long way from the old town. It's less than 3 kilometres but we spent a lot of time going in and out. The free bikes are great if you're just going to a cafe where you can park them outside, but if you want to go for a wander you have to pay someone to look after them and remember who and where that was. A grab or meter taxi is only 50,000 dong one way, but if you go in and out a couple of times it starts adding up.

Lee was our host at eco lux riverside hotel, he was an exceptional host and we can’t thank him enough, he helped make our first time in Vietnam amazing, from the moment we are he had organised our transport from hotel, he organised all our activities and drivers for all our private tours, we we’re always greeted with a smile from lee and and we’re welcomed the ask for anything we needed. We would highly recommend the eco lux riverside hotel for your stay in hoi an , thanks again lee from Vicki and Alby

Nothing we didn’t like

The staff were very lovely, the room had more than enough space for our bags and luggage. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The spa in the hotel did a great body massage, and there’s a discount if you’re staying at the hotel. The hotel also had tours you could book through them, we did a cooking class with Mr. Cu that was amazing & included riding in basket boats!

The hotel is a bit far from the town, but they provide bikes for free for guests to ride in. They also provide motorcycle rental at a cost. We had 3 of us and either got a car to places, or rode the bicycles into town. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty, but they provide slippers for use inside the room. The bathroom floor also would get wet quite easily from the tub shower, but they provided bath mats. It was preferable for us, compared to the usual wet room style bathrooms in Vietnam.

Clean and comfortable rooms, had a good stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Bit away from city, have to depend on bike or taxi. After 8pm, Grab taxis won’t be available. Motor bike rental is bit high when compared to rentals at city. I had to leave early to the airport around 6 AM and there were no options. Breakfast options could be better.
