Location, value, quality and overall condition

The bedroom next to the road was noisy at nights, so not suitable for everyone. The stairs at the house arent too good for the baby carriage, but this is not an issue for everyone.

Spacious apartment at a great location, quite beautifully decorated. Extra amenities like beach towels, kindly provided by the hostess. Patricia was a great hostess, replying promptly to all our requests, with all details needed and with authentic will to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended :)

Patricia was super responsive and helpful. Check in was easy . The location of the property it just perfect ! 3 minutes walk to one of best beaches in las Palomas with various coffee shops. restaurants and bars. If you love walking then don’t miss the beach promenade! We were a family of 5 and it was spacious enough for us .

Shower in master bathroom was super small but it was not a big deal.

The appartment has a fully equipped kitchen so you can prepare your own breakfast and meals. It was very nice to have some food available (sugar, salt, pepper, spices, oil, vinegar) because usually one does not buy that on a short trip since they are generally sold in big packages. There is also a coffee maker for the stove. If you buy ground coffee/espresso (maybe even from Gran Canaria) you can make an excellent coffee. :-) It was very nice to have a washing machine and washing powder. Even though most rooms do not have a window that faces outside the building complex (there are small courtyards or rather shafts) it was possible to get some cool air inside. All windows have curtains to keep the sun out. For people who are not used to air conditioning that should be totally fine (travelling in May). The place has three bedrooms (with windows, one facing the street), two bathrooms (no windows), one kitchen (with window), one living room (facing the street), a storeroom, a small balcony (facing the street). There is enough space if you are a family or a group. The beach, supermarkets, stores, restaurants are close by. The bus station (parque Santa Catalina) from where you can take the bus to the older city centers (Triana, Vegueta) is 10-15 walking minutes away.

There was no information about the WIFI inside the appartment. I did not have any internet connection once I arrived in Las Palmas and therefore did not receive the hosts email with that information in time. It was a little bit stressful after the long journey to find a place with free Wifi (without having to buy something) in order to contact the host and receive the information. All in all it was also my fault because I did the booking very shortly before the journey. Tip: The supermarkets HiperDino and the toursit information have wifi. It would have been great to a have a drying rack to hang the laundry inside the appartment. I put my laundry on the lines that hang outside across the small roofless courtyard. But it rained overnight and my clothes got soaking wet again. Luckily there were enough coat hangers and chairs to improvise.
