The house was just as the photos shiwed. Very comfortable for our group coming back and forth from the races. Would stay there again.

The location of the home was perfect considering it was close to Drake University. Prior to arriving we were notified the refrigerator was only working on the lower shelves, and the same for the freezer and it couldn't be looked at until Monday. This wasnt great news considering we were in town for a track meet where refrigerating numerous items and having ice bags are important. The host putting a mini fridge in for the weekend would had been helpful. The home itself was sapcious and lots of linens were provided. We did have troubles connecting to the WIFI but finally realized the password listed in the vrbo was different than what was listed in the home notes. Updating what is sent out would be helpful. We do have a tendency to check all doors when visiting a home. One of the doors in the small bedroom didnt have anything in the hinge and it almost fell on me. We didnt mind the noise from the busy street but the noise from the stairs is loud and you will disturb anyone sleeping trying to creep up or down them at night will disturb everyone in the house.

Our experience was excellent & we would have preferred to stay longer so we could enjoy the awesome sauna. Looking forward to coming back!!

The house was great! Like others have said, the kitchen could use some additional tools but other than that, no complaints! Comfortable beds, cute charm. We appreciated that the AC was on when we arrived and the house was cool. Overall it was a great stay!

This is a beautiful craftsman style home. The listing doesn’t make clear the sleeping arrangements, but there are 3 bedrooms upstairs with a king, queen/double, and a twin. There is also a queen/double in the basement. There is a full bath on the second floor and the basement and a half bath on the main floor. The kitchen and laundry are well stocked. The living room has a sofa, love seat, and easy chair along with a TV (includes cable). The home is on a busy street, which you can hear from the master bedroom. The upstairs bedrooms are bright and cheery but they are hard to darken for sleeping. We were a group of four adults and two children and this home was perfect for our visit, especially since there is a playground across the street.

Perfect place for family to get ready and relax In between events for our wedding weekend. Master bedroom was very spacious. Enjoyed the house a lot. Easy and close to the downtown locations we needed. We were aware of the busy road in front. Parking three different cars was sometimes tricky with moving in and out. In general, no complaints. Great value for the space. Gathered at the big table a lot. Thank you!

Amazing location in great condition, my friends and I had an amazing time here visiting. Very communicative and understanding hosts made the experience even greater. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Quick find off the interstate. Road is busy but that’s expected with it being right off the interstate. Lovely home with plenty of room!l Sauna was a hit! Lots of towels to use and having the ability to use the washer and dryer was nice! Had some minor wifi issues with the tv, but communication with host was great! Got it figured out. If you plan to cook instead of eating out, the kitchen does need some additional utensils and cookware.

The house is large enough for me & my granddaughters. Upstairs bathtub was clogged. Needs more dishes in kitchen, mixing bowls, small skillet, large pot, etc. Something to put leftovers in.

We travel a lot following our kids college wrestling. This was a great opportunity for multiple parents to stay together. This home has great character. Thank you for sharing!

This property was perfect for my boys. Since we were in town for Preseason Nationals wrestling tournament, the location was 5 minutes from Iowa Events Center.

Home was nice for our family vacation. Neighborhood was further from downtown than we expected. Host was very responsive with questions.

This home was perfect for my family while attending family reunion activities in the area. It's super clean and the hosts are very thoughtful about providing soaps for everything like laundry, kitchen and bath. That's very helpful when traveling. The beds were comfortable. Although, the bedroom next to the road gets quite a bit of road noise. It's on a busy street. I enjoyed using some of the cookbooks in the kitchen to prepare a couple of new to us meals. We used the garage one night when a hailstorm was threatening. That was a relief to have a place to protect our vehicles. It's an older home with lots of character that is nicely updated and very amenable.

We were in town attending our granddaughters AAU basketball tournament. The home was perfect in meeting our personal needs and so convenient to the tournament venue

The house was clean and well stocked with toiletries and fluffy towels. The beds were comfortable. The front porch was great for drinking our morning coffee and having a little happy hour. The location was perfect, close to downtown and I nice play area across the street for our dogs. I would stay here again.

Me and 4 friends stayed at this cute little VRBO a couple nights to do the Saturday bike ride on the High Tressle trail. This place was perfect for us. Easy to find, close to the trail and bars / restaurants. The 5 of us were able to sleep in the 3 bedrooms upstairs, sharing queen / double beds and one twin size. There is another full size in basement.

Myself and 2 friends found the accommodations here pleasant and we would stay again. It was walking distance to Drake campus…

I would guess this house is 100 years old and it’s amazing in every way. Plenty of room, comfortable furniture, nice size kitchen. Garage available. Loved the historic feel of the house. Beautiful hard wood floors. Very clean. Super easy access to the freeway.

Loved the location! Driveway was not fun to get In and out of on main road but was a good stay!

We really enjoyed the stay here. It was conveniently located to downtown and accommodations was fantastic. Will defiantly book again when we come to the Des Moines area.
