The staff here are just so beautiful, extremely kind and lovely.

I booked 4 days and requested not to accept the booking unless it was guaranteed the Wi-Fi is adequate as my sole purpose was to work. The Wi-Fi was terrible most nights and I did not have any in my room which made it impossible to work, resulting in my losing money everyday.

Well i don't understand all the bad reviews... It is a bargain and really authentic balinese stay, so yes the room are not perfectly cleaned and the bathrooms in the entry level rooms need a bit of refresh!! But for this price you have clean bed sheet, hot water, tea and coffee in the room and a brilliant swimming pool. On the top of that you are staying in a real balinese area, and most of the other guests are indonesians and very happy to see some western people. As well all the staff speak english and are very nice, especially Nyoman one of the main housekeeper who always has a quick chat to make sure you are enjoying your stay and if you need anything to make it more enjoyable!! So to all the staff, and especially Nyoman, thank you very much, i will definitely comeback but i might book a deluxe room as they seem to be all new and with a view on the swimming pool, i will spend the extra money, no pbs!!

Yes some of the entry level rooms need a bit of refurbishing and the shower heads a descaling!!!

I needed to be in the heart of Denpasar for a few days and this hotel was perfect in its location. This is an authentic local's neighbourhood and there is a well-known Warung that people come to for traditional Balinese dishes. If you have never tried Sayur Cantok or Tipat Cantok, the family-run Warung just up the block from the hotel is worth a visit. And warning: not a word of English is spoken. Hotel receptionists speak English and are very helpful. The fresh market is a short walk from the hotel, most active on Saturdays.

Room smelled stale, not very clean and very outdated. Outside looks lovely, inside not so much. I asked to stay an extra day when checking in and they said ok, but it was never processed and they wanted me to move to a different more expensive room in the morning.
