Location, breakfast was ok, some of the staff were good, comfortable beds

The 3rd shift girl act like she couldn’t fix food over in the night when its suppose to be 24hr service

I loved the staff! So helpful and friendly, the dry cleaning services were very speedy. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel was close to the tram. The room was spacious and light, even though we had a wall as a window view.

The breakfast was okay, but we didn't want to do it more than once due to limited options and coffee being a bit acidic. The hotel itself looks outdated and not as modern, and the wifi was a bit slow. It was a bit concerning that the elevator didn't require the key card to use, so anyone could ride the elevator.

Room was big and very nice. Nicole at the front desk was exceptional. Staff in general were all very nice and helpful

Laundry was broke! We needed to do laundry and there was only 1 washer which at the time was out of order. That was very inconvenient due to making an extra trip via Uber to local laundromat to complete.

Front desk and lobby staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. Excellent service. Breakfast was decent, can improve. Location is perfect for what we need to do.

Drains in shower did not work. Hallways were loud. Employees were the worst.

Great location

5+ times staff was notified of no water pressure or lack of hot water as well as foldout sofa bed not working, no one ever addressed the issue. Called to report to management after checkout as well, no return phone calls. Great location, but terrible customer service!

A little small facility for the crowd

We liked the location in the heart of the city. The staff was super friendly and very helpful when we asked touristy questions. It was a great cheaper alternative to staying in the nicer hotels in the Galveston area even with the Uber to get to the port. If you plan it right you’ll be able to catch a ballgame as the ballpark is super close.

It is a older building but not horribly old that it looked it and that means it could use some TLC here and there. The breakfast was alright, not great but alright. There was no real staff in sight and I had to go to the back to find someone to put out silverware and ask to clean tables & dishes just left everywhere.

Location was great as we were going to a ball game at Minute Maid park (about a 8-10 min walk). Room was pretty spacious, great shower in the bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Some other good dining options are short walks from the location. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Great hotel in Dowtown Houston. Near to Convention center and to all other places in Downtown. Staff was excelent, especially the front desk.

No pool. I should have looked but I didn’t think to for didn’t think there wouldn’t be one. Will look now. The other thing was they said 24 hour eatery. You are limited at certain times even in middle of day. One evening at 930, I asked the front desk if eatery was open and was told yes. Went upstairs to the 16th floor to be told it was closed. Not major issues but did want to notate.

The location, very convenient for the G. Brown convention center

Where to start? 1. One evening I found the door of my room opened. They didn't apoligized nor provided an explanation. Later I understood this sometimes happen, because of the cleaning service 2. The shower was cold 3 over 5 nights. When I asked for assistance the guy at the reception simply replied: leave it open for 8/12 minutes, maybe it will work (?!?!!). When I noticed this was an unecessary waste of water, he stared at me as I was crazy 3. I asked for gluten free options for breakfast, both at the reservation and on the day of arrival. They took it very superficially, replied they only had - maybe - cereals, and ignoring the need of avoiding contamination. I had to buy my breakfast for the following 4 mornings Only these 3 would be unacceptable even for a 1 star hotel. I will definitely ask for a reimbursement.

The cleanness of the place

The folks at the front desk were very helpful when I checked in. When I left, they kept a bag for me while I attended an event after checkout time.
