De host, Manouela, wachtte ons op met de sleutels (we kwamen om 22.00 uur aan) Zij had heerlijk gekookt voor ons! Midden in de week werd er schoongemaakt en was er nog een chocoladecake achtergelaten (die ook heerlijk was!). Buitengewoon lief! Wij zouden deze villa in de toekomst zeker weer boeken.

Villa Vardis is a new, modern, clean and comfy house with a wonderful view! It is very quiet and the terrace is beautiful, you can see the ancient town of Vafes, the mountains until the Sea! It is a really relaxing place. The house has all you need for a perfect holiday. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The best is the host Manouela, who is very kind and reactive. We loved her Moussaka and cake! Efcharisto poli 🤗

the only thing is the pressure of the shower which should be improved.

We spent a week with our young adult children at this beautiful villa in a charming village. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, well equipped and true to the photos. The scenery is spectacular and the villa offers amazing views. The owners are attentive to their guests in every way, left some lovely Cretan delicacies and went to lengths to ensure their guests enjoyed their holiday. We would return in a heartbeat and would highly recommend Villa Vardis!

Cannot fault it in any way!

The Villa is simply stunning. Its private and the pool is heated. Very comfortable beds and the air conditioning/heating works flawlessly. If you like cooking then you have everything you need to cook up a storm. It's also quite large too and designed to ensure that guests have privacy within the villa. The owner of the Villa is absolutely lovely, very friendly and is always available to help.if you have any problems or queries. 10/10 for customer service

The Internet is the main thing I would say needs improving -- it simply isn't good enough. It works however it is far too slow. If you're looking to work remotely or even stream a video or two it will struggle massively. I can't imagine what it's like with many guests. You Will absolutely need a car too, as the closest shop is in another town about 5K away. The roads aren't pedestrian friendly.

Everything about the property and arrangements exceeed expectations. Great communication before and during our stay. The local contact - Manouela was incredibly welcoming, providing food when we arrived, and also during our stay. Also nice to have water, tea, coffee available when we arrived, so we could refresh before doing some shopping. She was also great in providing local addresses for supermarkets etc. Villa very clean. Could not fault a thing!

Everything was perfect. Manouela the host was fantastic, friendly, accommodating, always smiling and helping. Villa itself is fantastic, even better than the pictures, with top notch brand new equipment. Combined with the authenticity of the Vafès village, you get the best of both worlds : modern comfort and grounded traditional experience. Thanks again!

Wow, just Wow! Manuela was just the most authentic and wonderful host - she was always ready to help us out with questions and provided service and a genuine kindness above and beyond expectations (this actually really made our stay - along with the view of course!). The villa and pool are every bit as stunning as the photos! The main bedroom is in a seperate section linked by the stunning arch and pool, and the interiors were super clean and new although they retained the charm of an older villa with stone features. Practically, there were so many areas for us to relax and enjoy and the aircon was modern and quiet with netflix TV if we wanted. We drove to some restaurants (you do need a car), but we actually enjoyed staying and eating in with that epic view! So much to see locally... don't hesitate to book!
