We loved this unique and stunning renovated church with all its special touches and cozy spaces. It was perfectly clean and fully equipped. We enjoyed coffee on the veranda, reading in the belfry, sleeping in the comfy bed and discovering all the themed artistic touches. The smart features were cool too. We’d love to visit again.

The church is incredible, great host, probably the cleanest, most well equipped place I have ever stayed in. Jim, the host is friendly and welcoming. Easy check in. Great spot with a lovely park across the street. There’s a great little breakfast spot in the park with free coffee for the guests of the church. The park has the best looking community garden with neat, raised beds. We are Four senior family members and we throughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thanks Jim!

Loved it! Homely, eccentric, a stunning conversion. We had a great time in this gorgeous space and it was the perfect family base from which to explore and a ‘home’ to return to. My son and I loved hearing an approaching train and sprinting down to the crossing to see them pass. 😆
Jim is delightfully passionate about his place and rightly so, look forward to coming back!

Absolutely lovely place to stay! Jim (fantastic host) has kept the character of the Church, yet made it modern and comfortable. This was our second stay and we will be back next year.

What a special place! Jim has done an amazing job restoring the old church into a wonderfully modern space while keeping several of the unique church features like the beautiful windows and baptismal fount. Convenient to Halifax and Truro too.

Great stay at this unique property! We stayed here for two nights so we could raft down the shubenacadie river. The place is awesome. My kids loved exploring all the areas of the church!

The Trinity is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Jim's attention to detail is complete and to be able to stay in such a beautiful place that was all "dressed up" for the Holidays, made for a simply delightful weekend away!

We had a great time staying in this place. It had everything we needed and the decor was really one of a kind. The upstairs loft was really nice and bed was really comfortable.

We absolutely loved TheTrinity! This was by far the most unique property we’ve ever stayed in! From the size to the amazing decor & outdoor veranda it was truly incredible! We liked the location as it is a short drive to either Truro or Halifax. I only wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy everything it had to offer! What a transformation from a church to an amazing property! Thank you Jim!

Fun and comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay in this very unique rental. The space is so beautiful and we really felt quite special - like we were staying in a work of art. Jim was very kind and helped us get settled and involved the kids which was great. They loved the lights and the jungle theme! The outdoor space is really pretty as well. We wish we'd had more time to enjoy it. Thank you very much for creating such a wonderful space and opening it up for us to enjoy! The café across the street is great as well!

Spacious and comfortable
We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated church. Every detail has been taken care of for your stay. The kitchen is well stocked with items you would need to prepare meals and the home has lovely seating areas and a large wood stove. Looking forward to staying again.

It’s a magical place. Loved the stay.
It was an enjoyable weekend. I loved being there in a storm. The place has so much character. Jim has done such an excellent job with the place. I highly recommend it.

The castle
Amazing home with every amenity. The owner was good to deal with. My 5 year old niece said she felt like a princess staying in a ‘castle.’ I suppose it does have that feel.

A slice of heaven!
The pictures simply do not do The Trinity justice - from the 25’ vaulted ceilings to the perfectly (and completely) appointed kitchen, we could not have imagined a better location for our weekend away. I am already booking it again!
Jim was an amazing host, friendly and helpful. A gorgeous fire in the wood stove to keep away the chill, and a huge TV to watch our scary movie on for Halloween - in a word, perfect.
My only regret was leaving.

Trinity Church in Stewiacke
From the moment we opened the door we were very impressed. The renovation was done so well -maintaining the character of a small town church as well as updating the kitchen and living spaces to create a comfortable and inviting stay. Our host, Jim, was wonderful and very helpful. We ;would definitely recommend staying here and are looking forward to returning soon.

The owner Jim was super helpful and stewiacke is a sweet little town!The pictures are great, but this place needs to be seen in person. We were in awe as we entered into the main space.

Charming hideaway
What a great place to stay! The photos really don't do this space justice - think full cathedral wood ceilings and all of the lovely charms of an old church but cozy and comfortable. We loved using the wood stove and the huge kitchen for making all of our meals. Would love to come back soon.

Romantic Getaway
One of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. It has everything you need and more. We stayed in, cooked a great meal in a beautiful kitchen, played games and ended the evening outside by the fire table. The host was very gracious. We highly recommend this place and will be back again.

Gorgeous spot
We had a great night at Jim's beautiful spot. It is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for a relaxing night as well as being centrally located for two daytrips in opposite directions. Jim was wonderful to deal with and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to coming back.

Perfect in Every Way!
This property has everything you could possibly need and more. Very comfy king-sized bed, the best bathroom ever, laundry room, and fabulous kitchen as well as a deck with Bar BQ. The renovations to this church are truly beautiful and authentic. Many special touches have been added, such as stained-glass that is backlit, remote controls for all the electronics (lights in kitchen, TV, stereo, etc...), dimmer switches on all lights and two wonderful ceiling fans. We were able to totally relax and feel at home here. Jim was a great host who responded to any and every request almost immediately. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven.
