A tetőterasz, semmi egyéb.

Staff very helpful and friendly
Travellers looking to socialise should go over the bridge. But my fault for not checking first

Les personnes qui nous ont accueillis sont super gentils et essaient de vous mettre à l’aise.
Nous avons découvert la baie d’Halong grâce au propriétaire et avons visiter énormément d’endroits grâce à lui.

We had a nice huge room with bathtub.
We get to explore the bridge! Amazing 🌉
Friendly male host who allow us to use the bicycle for free after our morning breakfast before we check out at 11am
It's a little far from old quarters, about 90k by grab

The hosts were excellent. Prompt to reply to any messages or inquiries, went out of the way to make sure guest had a good stay by showing massive flexibility in many ways. Really friendly and hospitable .

The room was cute and good value for money! It was quiet and out the way of the city centre but a cheap grab/taxi away from Hanoi centre. And the rooftop views were amazing.
The pool isn’t in the sun, but that’s only a factor if you’re after an outdoor pool as you can sunbathe upstairs!

The lady at the hotel added local information to my Google maps and the man spoke to our taxi driver in Vietnamese to give directions on where to collect us. We arranged our own taxi to save paying the hotel any extra money.
We booked 5 nights and stayed 1, which is a lesson for me to learn from when booking hotels. At check in we paid an extra half day to check in 3 hours early, for our taxi and stay. I was also charged 3% for using my card after being told everywhere in Vietnam adds a charge when paying by card, something I have found out to be false. The hotel is situated down an alley, where locals live and we didn't feel very welcome in the neighbourhood when walking around. We have later found out we were heavily over charged in the local store, but again this was my fault, having arrived from a few weeks in Hong Kong, everything seemed cheap. We had a walk to the local shopping centre for a bank with the children and this was a suicide mission, busier traffic than the streets around the Old Quarter, floods of bikes that had no intention of slowing down.
The room was very basic and didn't look as it did in the pictures, no breakfast included, no hairdryer, etc. There was a gap in the door and old slippers left in the room for new guests to use. The handy thing was that you could shower whilst sat on the toilet to save time, if you wanted to.
I would recommend buying your own toilet roll if you do stay, so when the half roll of 1 ply toilet roll for a family runs out, you won't get moaned at for asking for more.
Having left the hotel I received a message from booking .com about the cancellation of my stay, the hotel told them that we hadn't turned up. Rather cheeky when we paid 5.5 days plus a card charge for the 1 night.

The host of the accomodation was very kind. She helped us with everything. The breakfast was Nice and and the rooms were very clean
The location is 15 minutes driving to the center of Hanoi (3 euro). The swimming pool was ok, but nothing special

Not much to be completely honest with you. The location is dreadful (you need to go down an allyway with barking dogs and trash and no drainage so it stinks bad!)
Pretty much everything about this place is not good. It's cheap but you even at this price you are paying too much. They keep the place chained up day and night with heavy chains that make you feel like you are in some kind of prison, to leave you need to take the chains off and put them back on again. When I arrived they took my passport and only gave it back to me on the second day. Everything in the room is low down even for Vietnam standards (you are basically sleeping on the floor, no chairs, no side desk or anything like that), the pool is a mosquito pit and the location is in a back-ally unaccessible by car (you need to walk down the ally every time you leave).
Then we get to the powercuts. The owner told us that they are located in an area of political unrest and so they suffer from artificial powercuts caused by the electricity company. This means no aircon, no internet, dwindelling phone charge etc etc. And these powercuts last a long time (6-8 hours a pop) so if your phone isn't fully charged you are in trouble.
Finally, its not a villa or an Inn. It's a family house. And not a particularly big one.
All in all I would recommend staying anywhere but here, it's bad.

The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop patio was a beautiful place to enjoy it. The lady at reception went out of her way to come to the hotel so we could drop off our bags early.
The location was a bit out of the way

the room was big and price was good compared to other properties in Hanoi
The staff are very pushy about getting you to book other tours with them which were overpriced compared to everywhere else and make you feel uncomfortable. They knock on your door and wake you up to go to breakfast early in the morning. When my girlfriend was alone in the reception area the staff forced her to write a 5 star review on Google. Location is outside Hanoi, they will tell you 20 mins but it is atleast 30-40 mins and you have to walk over a dangerous bridge. Rooms aren’t cleaned during stay. Not sure how they have so many good reviews but if you check Google you will see for yourself.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lucky Budda Inn Villa in Hanoi for a total of 5 nights. Through Jimmy, the owner, we were able to book our tours for the Ha Giang Loop and Ha Long Bay. Everything went smoothly. During the tours our luggage could always stay in the villa without any problems. We could also ask for advice in general at any time, We were able to hand in our laundry and get it back freshly washed on the same day. The rooms were clean and cozy. (We had different ones as we checked in and out multiple times because of our the tours). There was hot water for the shower, Netflix was set up on the TV and there were several options at breakfast to choose from, you could also make special requests at any time and were always asked if you wanted something else, a second coffee etc. We felt very welcome and cared for. We had a very pleasant stay here and would come back again.

Everything was great.

Jimmy was really helpful from start to finish , quite tricky to find as its behind locked gates and no sign in the alley. Really friendly staff , organised us a taxi to the airport, a good breakfast on the roof top 👌

It is spacious and clean. Good shower and decent breakfast.
Location not great- needs a taxi to get to the centre. l can’t understand the rave reviews on here for what is basic accommodation. Describing it as beautiful is over the top and attention is needed to decor/painting walls, but it is very reasonable for the price.

The breakfast was lovely as was the setting for having breakfast and coffee
Could have been closer to the street

The host did his best to accommodate as we had some issues with our bed
The women host was a lot about business, she tried to sell us tours, sending us whatsapp, following us when we were booking taxis, made us pay for water bottle that was in the room (no price written anywhere …). The room was not comfortable with no curtains in the door which make full light in the room, the bed was very not clean, holes in the towels, … the location is very far from the center (10 min) with no grocery, bar or restaurants accessible by walk !! I just do not understand the other comments … as even the swimming pool was so unclear and unclean …

Lucky Budda Inn Villa is in an excellent location, close to the city, but in a quiet area of Long Bien. We walked across the Long Bien Bridge over the Red River and into the city with our 3 kids aged 12, 10 and 7. The hosts Jimmy and Ruby are very welcoming and friendly, along with their children and the kids happily played together. They arranged a marvellous tour of Halong Bay for us with a terrific tour group. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light and pretty views. I would highly recommend Lucky Budda Inn Villa and I would definitely stay here again.
