We really enjoyed this spacious home just 25 minutes outside of the City. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. We particularly loved the garden, which was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or eating dinner outside. We appreciated the host meeting us for check-in and giving us a quick tour of their lovely family home. We highly recommend this home for family with kids looking for a relaxing spot within an easy journey of many attractions!

Property was the perfect place for a comfortable home base as we explored London and the surrounding area. There was plenty of space for our group of 8. Frances was an excellent host and we highly recommend this property!

Great house, with lots of comfort features like the bathrooms and bedrooms being updated. My nephew (a professional chef) cooked turkey, ham and beef for Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and my wife made deserts. We have 15 for dinner and ate left overs for two days. Access to London became easier as we learnt the best routes and ways into town. Unfortunately with COVID the theaters and ballet shut down, so we missed a lot of that, but with friends and family we had a good time.

We stayed at St Leonards for 10 days - initially there were 6 of us and by the end 11. The house is very light with lots of windows. The Garden is great - there were comfortable chairs and a sofa right outside the kitchen which we used a lot, and a big dining table on the lawn. We were there during the heatwave so the garden was key. There is a nice conservatory, we moved around some more comfortable chairs to sit in there (a few more relaxing charis would be nice). The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive to our questions. It was 30 mins to get into central London on the train or bus and that worked out well for us. A huge Tesco within walking distance. Great place for a group.

Simple lockbox check in, communication was good. Nice traditional house, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Decorated for Christmas, including a tree, which was a lovely surprise. Thank you for letting us share your home.

I cannot thank Frances enough for kindly renting her beautiful home to us. We truly had a fabulous weekend. A gathering of 10 friends and we couldn’t have asked for more, plenty of room, really comfy beds, exceptionally clean, extremely well equipped .... Just perfect. Thank you so much. For 10 family members staying in this beautiful house it was perfect, although a lot of us there was so much space we weren’t on top of each other, the house is situated close to the high Street and is within easy reach of shops, restaurants etc, great transport links to go into London. The house itself had everything we needed it was clean, tidy and decorated to a high standard. We had a great time with our family from all over the world using this house as a base and then exploring the surrounding areas. Frances was great communication through out the booking process was high and any questions we had priory to our trip to Streatham was answered in a timely manor. Frances a massive thank you from us ( we hope you found the bubbly we left for you) we had family around us in an amazingly beautiful house which added so much to our time in Streatham. This was the perfect house for 9 of us for a family get together. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and soo much light and space, it is just fabulous. I loved the huge kitchen dining social area, so nobody is excluded whilst cooking, preparing. Even saw the foxes at night and in the morning. Frances tips for explorating London were great and her helpfulness and attention faultless. Thank you very much Frances! The garden is peaceful and provides shade from the summer sun and the location of the house lovely and quiet. Streatham train station is just about 10min walk away and ideal for direct train to the city centre. Also good location for visit to the flower show. A perfect base for a memorable stay and exploration for our family. Would love to come back one day ! thanks again

Very convenient and warm home. Enjoyed morning visits from fox family. Extensive kids things and great kitchen. Fit well with our twelve family.

Wonderful house and comfortable beds. More then enough room for all 11 of us. Taking an Uber to the city of London was super easy. Check-in was easy and communication with our host was easy and questions were responded to quickly.

The house was absolutely perfect for us! We all had our own room but plenty of common area to hang out together. Bathrooms were plentiful and lots of hot water. Frances worked to meet our special needs traveling with a baby. Thank you again!

This property was fantastic. The location was great with easy access to the bus and quick transfer to Northern Tube. The house itself was more than accomodating for 8 adults. Beautiful back yard with tree and lush greenery. Big kitchen to hang out in . Plenty of bathrooms and great bedrooms. The owner , Frances was so helpful and the tips she gave us prior to the trip were spot on! Wonderful stay!!

I can highly recommend this beautiful house for a family trip to London. The house is really well equipped and has got a delightful enclosed garden. There is lots of inside space for everyone to relax and it is comfortably furnished. With a 10 minute walk to the station it is also very easy to access the city. The owner was extremely helpful answering our questions very quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful experience for a group of eight. Spacious— lots of room. Great natural light. Rock solid and consistent WiFi. Great neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby. Loved the kitchen. Several nearby grocery stores (and well-stocked kitchen) made cooking at home a cost-effective and tasty option. Last, if you’re lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of a cheeky fox sunning itself in the backyard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house for what was probably the best trip we have ever had. The temperature on one of the showers was impossible to alter, but Frances gave us warning and there were plenty of other bathroom and shower options. The location was perfect for accessing several different transit options, and we had a great time in London. Frances had the house decorated for Christmas, a lovely and unexpected touch that made our holiday all the merrier. She also made an extra trip to bring us additional towels, and we loved the family’s taste in books in the library. One note - if you are around for a holiday, take care to figure out which day is rubbish pickup (we didn’t expect them to come on Boxing Day, and accidentally missed it!) In any case, we were comfortable with plenty of space for our big family to spread out, and we hope to come back someday. Thank you so much, Frances!

This house was clean, beautiful and modern and I could not recommend it more highly. The hosts as well were very accommodating and friendly answering any questions I had. This house was absolutely perfect and it would be a treat to get to stay again.

This was a terrific house for two families visiting London. Several bedrooms and bathrooms made for a comfortable stay for our large group. The house is clean and large. The backyard was lovely! We ate breakfast outside and loved spending time relaxing in the garden after a long day of sightseeing. We walked to the small town several times to visit restaurants and the grocery store. Our kids enjoyed the park at the end of the street- terrific playground and beautiful trails, as well as a cafe with yummy treats and coffee.

Our group had a wonderful stay at the house. Bathrooms and kitchen were very modern and up to date. Frances, our hostess, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Public transportation and food shopping were close by. It was a quiet area of London. An added bonus for the grandkids was outside play equipment. Also, many board games were there for everyone. Overall, a great experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights with a party of 8. House was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. Great kitchen that is fully equipped. The house is closed to a train as well as bus station; although we only used Uber to get into Central London. Also, there are several supermarkets nearby. The only issue we encountered was controlling the water temperature in two of the bathrooms. Did notify the homeowner and she said it will be fixed for the next guests.

Loved our weekend here, house warm and comfortable with very accommodating owner. Perfect for travelling into London for shopping and sightseeing. Would definitely recommend and stay again
