Absolutely loved the room and all the beautiful views.
We did not get new towels every few days. And maybe a little more options for drinks/foods for by the pool.

1930s home of famous Italian actor and producer, so beautifully maintained and located in such a stunning setting that you feel as if you are in a movie set yourself. The staff are kind, attentive and top professionals.

it is a very beautiful place and good position with great views and evening sunset.
Sadly we booked on the basis of being able to eat in their restaurant which looked like a great kitchen. However it was only when we arrived late in the day that we were told that the kitchen was closed due to a technical problem? There was a wedding there the next morning so difficult to understand! I would have been good if they could have let us know before we arrived. Were resorted to a take away Pizza which the hotel were good enough to order for us and serve in the pizza boxes.
having said that we plan to go there again but will make sure that the kitchen is open!!

Amazing location, friendly staff.
Air conditioning wasn't working. Touch-activated faucet in the bathroom was a hell to use.

the room was beautiful, with comfortable beds. we had a lovely house cocktail at the bar and enjoyed the spa.
breakfast was good, but it was not clear that the part that was included consisted only of 3 little pastries. anything more came at a price, of which we were not informed. more transparency about pricing would be good. the same is true for the spa.

The Villa Monty Banks is really a special place with its Architecture, location and above all with the nice staff. The attention to details in the hotel's interior and the service in the restaurant and the bar made our stay to a wonderful experience.

Half of my life I spend in hotels ... but this one clearly sticks out of the pack ! Fantastic location, classy service, great atmosphere and ... superb foot

The staff was amazing, friendly and they always knew what you wanted. Breakfast is heaven and the villa itself is just stunning. It's the best place I ever stayed in Italy. Everything they use for their dishes is from the region, very fresh and even parts of it from the garden. We had an amazing 3 nights stay, and I really hope to come back

The view is breathtaking. Great sunset and sunrise. Well tended property and perfect pool. Wonderfully renovated Villa, everything solid and modern. Great parking. Even so we had the smallest room (no 22), it was spacious enough, well furnished with a luxury bathroom. All felt like being in a mansion or modern castle. A/C working great. Friendly service and really good breakfast (there is an accomplished cook and team).
There were no pictures on the walls, but the view is so nice, that none are needed. We would have preferred no or lower volume music at the poolside to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, but maybe that is just modern and stylish to have constant yodeling. (This prompted other guests to have important conversations on their mobile phones even louder...)
